Day 2 Sean was never one for Outback Steakhouse, but there are only so many places you can get a decent steak in Seoul for less than 100,000 won. He is sitting only a few minutes before Nick arrives. They begin their meal in silence-- not the awkward silence of strangers, but the comfortable and comforting silence of old friends. In their own ways, they are each remnants of an older, better era. An eternity passes and they begin to speak again. Shell-shock gradually wears into you, when this kind of thing happens, until shell-shock becomes normal, until normal has no meaning. A man should be intelligent and learned, and with the power of his mind, be able to overcome his doubts and emotions by the exercise of his reason. But when doubt and fear become commonplace and emotion can no longer keep up the stamina for daily life, this subsides. All that is left is are the raw, twisted stands of emotion that slowly fray until there is nothing left. Sean and Nick talk long into the night, and for once things are silent. The beers are crisp and for a moment, all is quiet on the front, and the eye of the storm passes over them. They sleep, for now. Welcome to Day 2. This Day ends instantly when a majority is reached to lynch.

The closest comparison game is Dwarf Fortress, where I made 2 votes all day - first on Custos for not caring about town and secondly on prplhz for not caring about town. I thought a lot about the other flavour of the day in that game (forumite), decided I didn't want to lynch him, and then did remarkably little to stop him getting lynched. My last scum game, Liquid City - how many people did I express suspicions/scumreads on? Many. Let's meta my last scum game and this game then?

I think you missed the point of my case. It's fairly hard to catch a player like marv on traditional reads, because his scum-play is devoid of egregious tells. However, when marv has a really long string of scumgames, he tends to get lazy, and his attitude begins to show. DeathNote Mini is a great example of this, and everything I've written in this game applies to that game as well. When marv gets lazy, he is very catchable on meta, and I've gathered several meta reads on him this game. Individually, I don't think they are damning, however, put together, and I believe they point strongly toward's marv's lazy-scum meta. I have a lot of respect for your scumplay, and I think you're very capable of avoiding all of these tells as scum. However, you get lazy once in a while and they begin to show. More importantly, these tells aren't present in any of your town games I've seen.

I also believe they are exclusive to your scumgames - not all of your scumgames follow these tells, but your lazy ones do. Like I said, Dwarf Fortress is the closest one. Your disinterested point is just flat out false. You discount my last scum game because it suits your stupid narrative about 'lazy' scum games (again, to repeat, my filter is now longer than that game at the start of Day 2). You're cherrypicking meta in a way that I can't defend myself because this game is unique to any other and I've picked up more town tells than scum tells. This makes this whole lynch extremely dumb indeed because I'm not scummy, because I'm town and trying. You're wrong because I've been trying to discern alignments (even Kei earlier said "no-one has been trying to actually figure out my alignment except you, and maybe hapa"). I questioned austin on his optimal/suboptimal stuff earlier because it was my way of picking at his alignment and he came up well. I wanted to wait for vader to post more (this is in my filter) because I wanted to hear what he had to say and whether it strengthened or weakened my read. I've also been trying to get drazak to post more so I can flesh out a read on him. I am trying to get to the bottom of what's what and who's who in this game and you leave all this shit out for your cherrypicked meta read. It's just bullshit.

Read pages 2 and 3 of your filter in that game. It's miles different from your play this game: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=358346&user=140487¤tpage=2 http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=358346&user=140487¤tpage=3
