A new mayor, Don Townen has just won election with final tallies coming in at midnight, indicating a 52-48 victory for Don Townen. Mayor Townen has pledged to end the war against the mafia families and instead to accept them as normal citizens of Liquid City. Not everyone was so happy at Mayor Townen's election though. We've received reports that two roommates, risk.nuke and Coagulation, commited suicide late last night by jumping off the Liquid City Bridge. Don't let that dampen your mood though, everyone. You rush inside to turn on the news, as you also glance at the headline in question: EXTRA, EXTRA!! LIQUID CITY POLICE FORCE UNDER MASSIVE SCRUTINY! SCANDAL INVOLVING CRIME FAMILY CAUSES MASSIVE SHIFT IN POLICE LEADERSHIP!!! After a long week of multiple killings by the city's crime family, many in the public have been calling for action. While the head of the crime family was found dead, the members of the organized crime syndicate were still executing strategic murders on high ranking officials and citizens of Liquid City. In an unprecedented move, both the mayor of Liquid City and the leader of the Police force have stepped down from their posts, and have been filled by relative unknowns within the community. We also have a new head reporter here at Liquid City News, reminding us to NOT comment on these events, and instead focus on "news" that is not important, such as the opening of a brand new chain of deli's in the west side. As this is probably my last news report, I want to inform you all that it seems the Crime Family led by the late Don Marvellosity, has infiltrated the upper echelons of the government and security here in Liquid City. They want me to ignore the deaths, the missing people that never turned up, but I don't care. I need to let the people know the truth. I... Wait... NO, Listen to me Liquid Citizens! Apparently there were enough people killed in the night, and even more people that simply left Liquid City, never to be seen again, that the remainder of the Mafia could effectively take control of the city. It appears that the city's bloody history has seen a new chapter, and now the brutal regime of the Mafia has started. Will the citizens ever be able to take back their city....?
