When you hire a player like stephano you know he WILL do stuff like that, stephano is a real buzzmaker and he enjoys it. Millenium had to face those kind of situations and even worse a lot and they didn't go apeshit for it. Seriously EG i'm disappointed.
Someone doesn't understand how things work here...
well sorry that i don't understand those shitty american morals. Because it doesn't shock me in the slightest !
And you ask me should they have done nothing ? well hell yes.
You people act like it was real...was there any legal proceedings ? No. Then its just words by a buzzmaker.
I actually agree with you (I'm from America). I don't understand how people like this can lump millions of people together that just happen to be from the same country and think that's ok. You do realize that countries are comprised of millions of different people with different opinions, morals, histories, and ideas right?! How hard is it to try and get a point across without attempting to offend everyone you possibly can in the process.

Well, that's just unfortunate. People say silly shit like this jokingly all the time, but sadly for Stephano, he said it to someone that was streaming and got caught. Yes, child molestation and the like isn't a joking matter, but we can't white knight and pretend like we've never joked about taboo subjects.
Well, he's going to Korea anyway.
I don't know who you hang out with, but people don't "joke" about having sex with 14 year olds.
I know plenty of people who make jokes about having sex with people's sisters (that are around 13-14). It's funny stuff to say to some close friends and what not, a bit weird when you're on the internet and are a sponsored player.
you know some weird people then, that shit is kinda fucked

Talking about child abuse is normal for every pro gamer in the industry, certainly. So no, don't worry about that so much. Shouldn't be happening.
It's the slippery slope man. Obviously child abuse is wrong, but where do we draw the line?
Here in the US, we got these ass holes called the Westboro Baptist Church, who essentially exist to stir shit up. But we are hesitant to censor them because even they have freedom of speech.
If a pro is suspended for talking about raping kids, I'm cool with that. But what if in the future we move to a place where merely saying "fuck", would warrant a suspension? I'm not sure I'm cool with that.

I don't know what sheltered world you live in. But this shit was super common (like multiple times a day) in my high school. A private, christian, high school. And we were very very tame compared to the local public schools.

Was this post really necessary ? You think it's ok to joke about that? And that openly? he realized that he was streaming also afterwards.. Even if it's a private joke between players it's still a messed up joke

Wow props to EG for having the balls to suspend stephano. Millennium gave stephano free reign to do whatever without repercussions and I'm glad to see no one person is immune from punishment. My respect level for EG went up for their decision to suspend stephano even though they knew they would get hate from his fanboys. That is how you run an organization and discipline players.

No, it's not "a bit weird" You know plenty of people that joke about having sex with people's under-aged sisters? Raise your standards. If I had a sister that was 14 and my best friend made a joke about raping her I'd punch him in the face and never talk to him again.
Well, October just has 2 and a weeks left, that's A paycheck...and he's going to South Korea. Not really a slap on the wrist, more like a sad face stamped next to his name. Why even bother to "punish" him?
Stephano's sense of humour is childish and he just likes to shock, it's just funny he got caught on stream, it was pretty stupid to get pinched like that. The punishment was just though and it's a very smart move to send him to Korea. Tip of the cap to EG.
Thats an unfortunate outcome but it was bound to happen sooner or later. Stephano is not a good fit on a team that cares more about perceptions than results.
