Are there thousands of people who wait for 25 days so that they just "pledge the last day"? I really don't get it. I've never followed any kickstarter, but PE is getting only steady donations now. Will probably be like 2.6mio max. At the end you know which stretch goals have been reached and which are likely to be reached, where at the start it's possible that no stretch goals are hit, or the kickstarter doesn't even reach the goal needed to be funded. You can see how many stretch goals have been added to this game already, so the value you are getting keeps going up and makes it more tempting to contribute.

In the new update they said you'll be able to "modify" your characters quite a lot. A fighter need not be a typical sword&board type of warrior, you could invest in skills and make him more agile so as to be a more of a finesse-oriented combatant. Sounds really promising.

http://www.facebook.com/obsidian If we can get the total number of likes to 15k they will add yet another level to the mega dungeon "free of charge", obviously sharing updates on your wall would help as well. But the main thing is to get that likes number up. I know not everyone likes facebook, i sure dont but getting some more viral advertisement about the project can only be a good thing.

I wonder how much they have gotten through paypal since they added it. They should have made a counter for that too. They will.

Significant new goals: $3.0 Million - Stronghold At $2.0 Million, your support funded a player house. Inspired by features like The Sink found in Fallout: New Vegas Old World Blues, the house is a convenient place to store gear, interact with companions, craft items (thanks to the $2.4 Million stretch goal), rest, and buy and sell from special merchants. Some of you wanted something that went beyond the standard player house, allowing you to take control of a full stronghold and its surrounding lands. Well-done strongholds provide players with the ability to make large scale changes, undertake special quests, customize the contents of the stronghold and the surrounding environment, and engage in light strategic gameplay between adventures. If we hit $3.0 Million, we will build a stronghold worthy of the title! $3.5 Million - Big City #2 Baldur's Gate and Athkatla are big cities. Spanning multiple large maps with a ton of interiors, characters and quests, big cities are a lot of fun. Like strongholds, they also take a lot of work to do well. We're going to have one big city in Project Eternity. Would you like two? If you take us on an exciting adventure to $3.5 Million, we will take you on an exciting adventure to another big city.
