Welcome to the official website of homebrew89's programs!
None of these are affected by the 1.14 patch!
Battle.net Auto LoginIf you ever get sick of typing your password every time you log in to Battle.net, than this is the program for you. Battle.net Auto Login automatically logs you in to Battle.net with the nickname and password you specify. Here's how you use it:
# Extract the program and configuration file (bal.cfg) to a folder, or maybe your desktop.
# Run it and you will see two boxes. The first one is where you put your Battle.net nickname and the second is for your password.
# After that, hit enter to run Starcraft, and get on battle.net.
# You will notice that you don't have to enter in your password! Cool, eh?
# If your Starcraft executable is located elsewhere from the default path, you can dit the path in "bal.cfg" to match yours.
Notice that when you exit Starcraft, the auto login program has disappeared. Not to worry, it does this because there is no use for the program after it logs you in, so it closes itself.
This program is very small, so it should take about 2 seconds to download over a 56k connection. Get it here!*
Battle.net Friend FollowIf you like to follow your friends as they join games, you probably get sick of copying the game name, character by character, into the join game box. If you mistype it, you have to go back to the chat box to recheck the game name, which risks the game filling up. To make things easier, I developed Battle.net Friend Follow. With this program, whenever you see that familiar "Your friend (blank) joined..." message, all you have to do is right click!
# Extract "BNet Friend Follow.exe."
# Run it and return to or start Starcraft.
# When the message is recieved, right click to trigger Battle.net Friend Follow.
That's all you have to do! Battle.net Friend Follow automatically finds the name of the game located in the message and joins.
As with the program above, this one is tiny and should take about a second or two to download over a 56k connection. Get it here!
LauncherSometimes, you may want to load up Starcraft as well as some other programs (like hacks). If this becomes too tedious for you, then Launcher is your program! Basically, it does what it's called: it runs executables, opens files with the default program, and opens directories. All you do edit a list of programs/files/directories you want to open when you run Launcher. There's even another feature: you can sleep between actions! For example, you could run Starcraft, wait for 3 seconds, then run Damnation. But, this program is not limited to Starcraft and such. You can use it for whatever you want!
You can download this tiny program here!*
Battle.net Encrypted ChatThere are many alternatives to encryption in order to have a private conversation on Battle.net, but how many are as much fun to use? Battle.net Encrypted Chat can encrypt your outgoing messages while decrypting incoming ones. Type your message as you normally would, but hit the right shift button instead of enter to send your encrypted message. Battle.net Encrypted Chat also supports custom encryption keys to ensure privacy!
Note: this program only works in channels, not in the pregame lobby or in-game.
