After all, stuff like that is just never worth the effort you put in. Im not saying that it's not worth the effort, I just don't have an interest in doing it just like, being completely honest here, I have no current interest in volunteering or donating money. Not saying this will always be the case, I am just stating the present

It's more desirable to be naturally talented but just have that one flaw of laziness, that's understandable. But a hardworking talentless person is maybe...honoured more, for their dedication that goes beyond the bounds of reality. I'd be more proud of the latter person.

How many times have you heard 'I'm D+, but I'd be B- if I played enough games'? 'I don't put in the time' is a way of saying you're qualified without having to put up any results.

They are proud of it because to admit otherwise that they would need to put in hard work instead of being able to do anything effortlessly would shatter their self esteem. I admit that I am a lazy person and I also admit that I have no talent whatsoever. Everything in my life comes from hard work. I have been working out for 5 years and I have a great body not because I'm a natural athlete, but because I committed so much time to working out and learning how to keep your body healthy. I used to have visions of grandour as a kid such as becoming a DJ, keeping up playing piano, and to become good at starcraft 2. Something that I constantly wondered about though was why didn't more people thinkk like this and try to achieve more? For the longest time I thought it was because people were just lazy and stupid and ignorant and i was better than all of them. Over time I came to realize this is not the case. It is what people decide to do with their time that ultimately ends up showing what they have done in life. I have very specific goals and am pretty strongly committed to all of them. To do things that do not help me in the long run, I will only do because I am a kind person and that I will not get any self-gain from it.
