Mementoss's Post
I'll start with why I didn't suspect Shady. Essentially, I find it incredibly difficult to read him this early. He's the player in this game that I have the most experience playing with (most cases against), and his behaviour is incredibly similar to this regardless of his alignment. I've mislynched him for the same reasons I've voted for him when he was scum, and I feel that more information is needed for me to consider him a good lynch.
Now onto why I voted for Mementoss. HiroPro's was the first case I found to be actually convincing. Most of the reasoning is covered in my previous post as well as the original HiroPro post. But my biggest concern was when you tried to tie Hapa and Mr.Z together as a scumteam. I now understand your reasoning based on recent posts, but at the time it seemed like you were just throwing together an associative case with no basis (or at least based on very flimsy support). This was suspicious to me because such a case would require a lynch on one of the people involved to even confirm viability. It's like an "accuse two, lynch one free" case. I generally find them scummy because they're almost pure WIFOM until one of the members flip. There is nothing we can do with such a case without lynching one of them first, and I found the reasons for lynching each individual lackluster.
Mementoss has since addressed my pressing concerns, so now I have to decide which of the other cases I think is most viable.

Pardon my skepticism, but is this really a scumtell? Even if he historically makes smaller posts as town, I can't imagine why making larger posts would make him mafia, even on a meta-basis. One scum almost always takes it upon themselves to make large posts early on and establish themselves as very very "pro-town". They love buzzwords like "anti-town" and other stupid things like that. I just can't see any reason for a townie to spend that much time, early in the game, establishing their townieness unless there is a mayoral election or something like that. The fakeclaim is throwing me off. There's also that contradiction that you yourself pointed out. I can understand why a scum player would defend me as well, they might be thinking there's no reason to go after me early on and get OMGUS'd or get my attention when they can kill me at night but I'm not really that good. My town meta is to pin the entire mafia team Day 2 and then vote for everyone else instead.
Or maybe it's not a fake claim and I'm actually a miller? And I want to deal with that and get it out of the way in a game full of detectives? Occam's razor, man.
One terrible case is excusable, but two is too much to be a coincidence. I mean seriously, what you're saying is that I tried too hard to help town out when I told everyone that I'm a miller, and therefore I must be scum? In what world does that make sense?

What the heck? How about this for a question: Palmar, do you think you are town? If you think you are town, why don't you vote whoever you yourself think is scum?

Something inside me screams "no god no" when there is an "easy" lynch Day 1 but there's no getting around how wishy washy Mementoss is with his first accusation, easiest player to accuse in the game because he's unlikely to even be motivated enough to defend himself adequately, and throws in a lot of useless reads (god i hate when people post "reads") which just clutters up a post which should be focused.
@Shady you should probably wait more than 20 minutes before you get mad about people "ignoring" your case btw. If your problem is Ghost not making real cases and being wishy washy (something that checks out with his meta, as he even said as town in one game that he generally refuses to make cases) then why the rogue vote on him instead of mmtoss?

Strong: the Green role is called Detective, since that's the theme name for a Death Note Mini. (I wouldn't have chosen that theme name if I ran things but that's a moot point.)

I know - I addressed that in my first post. VT's don't have checks, but I guessed that there is a larger-than-normal number of DT power roles.

I haven't played mafia in a long time but you can go back through every game I played and this has always been my main argument on Day 1. I would have nailed GMarshal with it that one time but I second-guessed myself and got in an argument with kavdragon and killed him instead. I've seen it happen in every game I've hosted or been scum in. Usually when I'm scum, I'm the one out there establishing myself as townie as possible.
You'll notice I didn't vote for you though so maybe you should relax

Things must have really changed in TL Mafia if I'm getting bandwagoned for saying I don't like lynch all lurkers and no one responds to the scumtell that when I used to play was typically the one that myself and most veteran players jumped all over on day 1??

I can see a reason for claiming miller as town and mafia. Obviously as town you don't want to cause confusion later in the game. As mafia you would do if because if you get checked later you can use it as an excuse. It seems more likely as town. You would need some pretty big balls to out yourself like that day 1 as mafia. Regardless I kinda think we should ignore the claim and base his alignment based on his other posting and his motivations/play.
Also about the case shady makes on ghost, it makes me feel a little un-easy about my vote on him because I had essentially the same notes about ghost down, but I've had a lot of trouble reading ghost in previous games.

Stop it. You don't have a "bandwagon" on you. Second of all, you're pretending like that case of yours never existed.

Like, the number of times people have told me that "being lazy" is palmar's scum meta...
I can't really accept missing the whole first day and then jumping back in with the most random freaking unreasoned explicit sheep vote I've ever seen.
I'm not really concerned at the moment with "viable candidates". I don't think any of the main cases are stronger than my gut reaction to what palmar just did.
If this is "a trap" palmar, then consider yourself successful, you caught me. By playing as scummy as possible, you trapped me and convinced me that you are scum. Huzzah.
Now, I'm going to bed. See you guys tomorrow if I live.

Palmar trolls. Palmar wants us to think he's trolling just to troll. Palmar watches the thread and sees who bites on his "hook". Palmar comes back with sweeping accusations and great "reads".
Palmar is town.
Now what would Palmar do as scum? He'd do something that made him look town. That's WIFOM, though. Palmar knows it's WIFOM. This begs the question, why is Palmar doing this? I think it's because he's the most arrogant player I've ever seen and he thinks he's smarter than all of us. He's Mattchew except at least Mattchew has the regard to tell us he thinks he's better than us.
Palmar is scum.
Palmar, you aren't smarter than all of us. All your style does is screw with us and leave us doubting what to do. There is no substance to analyze. I don't like this style of play and I think we're better off without someone actively trying to play mind games with the thread. Are you town? Are you scum? I don't know. I do know I want you dead because I think you're more harmful alive than dead.
