Except most of the characters in the movie and the team itself is international. Just saw the movie and I loved it. It was much better than the first one. It is such a fun action movie to watch and I loved how some of the lines referenced some of the characters' famous movies. I was disappointed that Jet Li and Van Damme didn't have a whole lot of screen time. Van Damme was a pretty badass villain and I love how they gave his character name, Jean Vilain... lol. I was relieved that the movie didn't have the trendy shaky cam style during action scenes and you can see every single scene just fine. It was an overall fun movie to watch and a good way to end the summer movies for me.

Wasn't trying to be sexist or anything >.< Good to hear though :D I'm definitely surprised, for one hehe. I haven't seen the first one, but refrained from doing so because I heard it was quite terrible. Might go see this then

+ Show Spoiler + A lot of shooting stuff and famous people, but there was no substance in the movie at all. Then again, my friends said I should've expected that.

My first sentence wasn't meant to be serious nor was I pointing out the sexism part.

If you don't wanna see that, don't watch it. If you accept that entertainment is fun, even if it's no particularly wholesome or intellectual, see it. I liked it :3

I liked it :3 pretty much how i feel. if you go in expecting ANYTHING but dudes killing other dudes for 2 hours... why did u go see it? The movie is kind of a joke to begin with... "So.. what if we take EVERY big action star and cram them into one movie... and have them kill a million people.... no plot. no story. not much dialogue."... i give u the expendables 1 and 2. expecting more than what it is makes you bad not the movie.
