If you ever tried to read them in bed (holding them up), you'd call them heavy novels for sure.

Still enjoyed it a ton though, plenty of feels to be had. All them feels, all them feels. Now their adventure begins in University! They must make new season!!!!

+ Show Spoiler + Kud Felt pretty boring at first, all those days studying and doing absolutely nothing was really boring. Then she went back to her home country, and during the phone call when it cut off, I thought she died and that was the end of the "good end". Then random teleportation magic and she breaks free, survives, and makes it back, weird. Kurugaya I loved this route, til the end. I thought Riki and Anego were really cute together, and the time they spent during the route was cute too. Then the amnesia thing started happening, and I'm like wtf is going on. I guess the amnesia thing was sort of explained in Refrain, but didn't really feel satisfied with the end. I have yet to do the supposed "true" end for her, which comes after Refrain, but idk when I'll do that, since I've heard it's pretty troll. Mio More like Midori route. =\ Idk, imaginary friends, didn't find it that interesting. Haruka After all the random magic and shit that happened in the first 3 routes, I was expecting something similar in Haruka's route. Especially when there was a hint of amnesia when Haruka forgot about eating cake with me. First thing that came to my mind was, god dammit, more magic/amnesia/random plot device. However, upon the final choice, my mind was blown when it turned out to be Kanata dressing up as Haruka. She even got different coloured contact lenses to fool you too. After some more talk with Uta, I realized that she didn't just dress as Haruka during the final choice. Basically all the scenes with good cooking, was Riki flirting with Kanata. Wow! It could just have been that since this was the last route I read, it's still relatively fresh in my mind compared to the others, and that's why I liked it. But I thought the reveal of Kanata and the subsequent realization of what I was doing the entire time, made me find this to be a really good route. Komari Komari's route was SOOOOOOO thought provoking, and deep, and intellectual. + Show Spoiler + lol [Ctrl] key is pretty good. I was really close to Refrain at this point, so I just said, fuck it. Rin/Refrain I like Rin a lot. She's cute, has a pony tail, her comments are always really funny, has a godly pony tail. I felt Rin's pain when she was all alone after transferring to the sister school, and really wanted Riki to just be the hero he wanted to be to save Rin from that school. However, I also didn't like how she was really sheltered, and barely helped Riki at all when they ran away. I was pretty confused at how Rin2 ended, but then turns out it was basically straight lead into Refrain. Oh man, Refrain... I had been hyped about Refrain basically since I started LB. I can't tell if that was a good or bad thing though. It was good in that it made me read LB, bad in that, I had really high expectations for it, and since it was so spoiler sensitive, I felt the slightest stuff I read, really made me think twice about everything. A partial glance at a secondary character's bio on wiki felt like it spoiled Refrain for me. It had me semi-expecting what was going to happen, specifically, the multiple worlds thing. After realizing everything that's been going on, and the stuff that Kyousuke/Masato/Kengo had been doing to try and save and make Riki and Rin stronger, it was extremely depressing reading the end. Their parting from Riki from the mystery world just felt like it was done so well, and then the credits roll after showing Riki in the hospital with Rin, I was on the verge of tears. Then it continued. WTF? UGH, what a fucking mood killer. If it ended right there, I would've thought it was the saddest thing since Clannad, and even more so. (Then again, Clannad had a happy ending too...) Ofc, then I would've wished that they did continue, and somehow save everyone in my own imagination. But they just went ahead and did that part right after. UGH idk, maybe I'm just a really pessimistic person and want the world to burn, but dammit, all that sadness I felt earlier, lasted about as long as the credits. =\ I guess a happy ending is more happier... The realization of another world during Refrain made it really hard for me to avoid comparisons to Angel Beats. Main characters living out ideal high school life in limbo, disappearing once their jobs have been fulfilled, sad partings. That and they both shared production by Key, and shared writer Jun Maeda. But obviously, Little Busters did it better than Angel Beats, and didn't have some weird continuity problems, and w/e that final villain was at the end, (I don't even remember it). Point is, Angel Beats was constantly in the back of my mind when I was reading Refrain.

Also + Show Spoiler [LB/refrain end] + I guess I was just really dumb cause I was sleepy or maybe I'm just really dumb but I failed to save everyone like 10 times and the bus kept exploding which further ruined the mood and I ended up just being really frustrated instead of happy lol

Movie: + Show Spoiler + the movie was for me actualy a little dull in the middle when i couldn't see if they where trying to make the focus point on the journey in london or the writing of tenchi ni fureta yo. The end and the thought they put into the sound made up for it thought New season/university scans + Show Spoiler + Seiing how the chapters of their university live was realy subpar compared to theit high school's one, i hope kyoani put a great job animating that and don't folow the original material too closely. The new girls on yui side where meh, no realy interesting, didn't realy liked those chapter. The azunyan part was a lot better, but the end gave a lot less warm feeling than the graduation of yui group. And they never met or hang out together, or whatever, just sad. This + nearly no Nodoka and other side characters made me glad the scan actualy stoped for good.
