Liquidpedia is where i found all i know about the SC2 OSL... And that's not much. It says nothing about whether or not these two different tournaments will merge eventually.

It's better from a scheduling perspective, and as today's games have shown, still show good games. I agree, but how well is that going to pan out when HOTS comes out?

I think the bo1 is totally fine for this, they need to broadcast two groups in a day and if it were bo3 each group could last 5+ hours like they do sometimes in GSL.

Hmm... San playing straight up so far... wil we see fast third with carriers?

Also, today's games might show good results, but that doesn't change the fact that random cheese and randomness of map choices can POTENTIALLY play a much much bigger (and undesire) role
And Flash lost to a cheese this weekend in Proleague

Haha, I saw San up 100 supply to Byun's 50 and closed the stream because it was too choppy, then I saw the OP saying that Byun won, and I was really confused until I checked the LR thread again and saw that it was just a mistake.

The winners of the Kespa Dual Tournament and non-kespa Dual Tournament will meet in the ro16 ( last group stage ) along with the two finalists of the last Brood War OSL, one being Jangbi and the other Flash or Fantasy. ( to be decided tomorrow )

Damn, as a terran player I was already getting bored playing starcraft with all these dumb patches coming out, but now I find myself not even enjoying watching the same damn thing over and over. This game is just not as fun to watch as it once was :/

With the number of tournaments going on viewers, organizers and players all want to have to play/ run/watch as little and shorter as possible. If we're going to keep comparing it to BW, we're going to run into a lot of logistical problems and burn out.
Having said that I still agree Bo3 is much more fun, but yeah, there's no real good excuse to change it to a Bo3 format at the moment, and I for one appreciate being able to watch more players in 1 day.

Suddenly people are okay with Bo1 cause OSL are doing it? Wait till a big player gets eliminated, then people will be pissed. When GOM adopted Bo3 there was universal joy, and if they dropped it before OGN announced that they were doing Bo1 there would have been universal disappointment. Just cause today it wasn't a problem doesn't mean it won't be in the future.

The probe is protected by a zealot!
7:00 San adds 3 gates, gets an immortal and +1 first. Zerg spent the first 100 gas on a lair, then ling speed
