Right, the Bo1's can still be high quality and the better players can still win in that one game, but that doesn't change the fact that the games can go either way, and it also makes the random map choice really retarded.

It was nexus first into gate/robo...

There's been literally 0 problem with bo1 today at all.
Actually finding it more enjoyable than the GSL groups tbh.

Don't worry. With time, he will be manly ;D

I think BO3/5 is good too, but it's not like these players weren't able to prepare or something. They had tons of time, and I feel that the quality of the games has been excellent.

The game is definitely starting to become figured out. Hell, HOTS isn't that far away and its all back to status zero.
Bo1 is perfectly fine imo.

yes some one sided bo3 are silly and it just takes way too long. Especially when you don't like a match up (PvZ ie) you just skip some matchs. On a bo1 you'd consider watching the whole thing.

both plant nexus/hatch at the same time, though zerg takes his third first. Protoss has a little gate/cannon wall right at his main ramp too.

Yes, and an argument could be made Bo5 is even better and Bo7, Bo9... You can go on and on. But unless they only do 1 group per day, Bo3 just takes too long unless they are all cheese games. You can also argue dual tournament format could be unfair depending on who plays whom first and full round robin is better.

BW was ALWAYS Bo1. Prior to the play-offs. BW wasn't always figured out. This how OSL does it. The games have been great, maybe the players we wanted didn't quite get through, but that's part of the excitement and drama in Bo1. It puts on a show, and honestly I've found today's matches to be better than the majority of the matches I've seen in the GSL.
