I'm not in this game, so I can't be town. You only said that you wouldn't give out girl advice to town, so can I get some advice? I would greatly appreciate this act of kindness and I eagerly await your reply.
Yours sincerely, Mordanis
I highly doubt Mr Blazinghand is qualified for girl advice

Ye of Little Faith,
Everyone knows that TL is stuffed to the brim with the best advice for girls. If you doubt this at any point, read the comments for one blog, and you'll see that no matter the topic there is always some advice regarding girls. Uncannily, the advice is always sage and wise; applicable and effective*. Because of this, I place full confidence in every potential word the good Mr. Hand will offer me in advice.
Best, Mordanis + Show Spoiler [*] +This rule is only applicable insofar as the blog's topic name does not have at least two of the following words: "girl", "advice", or especially "girl blog". In these situations the advice contained therein is never to be trusted under pain of a massive cock-up.

/in regards to the original post, it was wonderful and I will be active (read as: actively confused). First timer.

Read the OP a little more closely my friend

Bahaha. At this rate, this one may take a month to fill up. (hint: read the entire OP if you want to play, guys.)
Seeing as it'll be my first game, I've been checking out an older game for how Day 1 proceeds and I still don't really get how it starts off outside of making random baseless accusations based on lack of participation alone. Any really good examples of kick-starts in previous games anyone would recommend?

I think you should lurk. Hard. All day. You should also use lots of logical fallacies and appeal to emotion ALL THE TIME.
It's the TOWNIE thing to do.

Day 1 can be pretty clunky. Usually a game is still trying to shake off its lurkers, and get a conversation started. In NMM III (link) you see MidnightGladius do a good job of getting things rolling D1, and even though a townie is lynched, the conversation got along pretty well, with like 6 or 7 pages, and multiple scum players tipped their hands (most notably bromancipate).

How did you know my secret plan? Are you clairvoyant?
Just kidding. I was going to out my role as Batman as my first post once the game went live to keep them distracted and confused.
It's the MAFIA thing to do.

Don't listen to VE ;_; he's the scum coach and doesn't want town to succeed, and is being quite the jokester.

Thank you very much for the link, that's quite an eloquent post there! I'll be able to read more of it after charging my mobile device up. I just got done perusing Ver's post about examining behaviors ("XXX" near the top of the list in this sub-forum) so that's some good advice about him I'll try to remember. Unless he ends up on the receiving end of a coaching PM in which case I will take his word for it

EBWOP: also noticed a lot of my name being thrown around in the discussions (obvious, obviously). Might consider a name change if my post count doesn't get too high after this game. We will see just how obnoxious it gets.
