So this is the Ro16? Sorry, if that is a dumb question.
And what a kickass group of matches

No need to be sorry, I couldn't find a good explanation of the format anywhere. AFAIK wildcards matches determine who goes on to ro16. ro16 is part of the playoff bracket but is played online. the winners from ro16 will go to Toronto for the live finals.

You can think of the wildcard stage as the round of 24, which gets whittled down to 16.
Is it just me or did it seem like they saved the highest profile matches for day 2? I see all of these series being close. When in a field of 8 Ret is the weakest player, you know you're got some big dogs in the field.

The image explains it fairly well. But yeah Round of 24 going into Round of 16. Sort of the like the Champ Bracket of MLG. Round of 8 is the offline finals in the Toronto.

It's a pity that Polt and aLive got matched up together. Both are very worthy for the finals.

all games are bo5 but under each person only 3 games are listed? assuming that is a mistake? =]

Can someone make sense of the 8 seeded players and those in wildcards for me?
I assume they got by top players and their "points".
Stephano was 4th in his division but is seeded despite being behind two wildcards in Zenio and TT1.
So, I assume it is because he has more "points"... but... Demuslim has more points than Stephano and is lower seeded?
Someone make sense of it to me?

Ret and Thorzain will be simply awesome to watch :D Great series today.

Seems like some pretty good games will come out of this. I predict that Ret, Zenio, Dimaga and Polt will win their sets.

Polt vs aLive BO5
sick stuff

I wouldn't put Ret as the weakest player, I would put him above aLive, Sen, and probably Zenio actually.

Not above aLive and Sen imo, above zenio yeah I probably agree.

Stephano was 2nd in his division... TT1 / Zenio were 3rd/4th -O_O

As are Puzzle, Thorzain, HerO and PuMa, especially in this league. Rather good players will get knocked out early because of the format, but there are still plenty of good ones left. Polt's and Alive's fault for not doing better in the group stages.

Go Sen! Go for 3/3 in 3rd place NASL finishes!
