I got my braces off.
I'm graduating tomorrow.
I'm having surgery on the 19. It's pretty major. Posterior spinal fusion revision.
Then anterior followup on the 25.
It's pretty major. I'm sort of freaking out, but realistically it should improve my quality of life, and allow me to start lifting again. The surgeon is a rhodes scholar, and a great guy, everything should go fine.
I have 6 weeks of total sedentaryness. I'm compiling a list of things to do, and things to read. What should I do? What should I read? Learning more korean is an option, as is reading, but I just ran out of material.
UCSD Starcraft people are awesome, and have been a help in getting me prepared for ter skewls.
Graduation gifts. Aunt said I should ask people what they thought they were.
The paint on my car is falling off. I can paint it any color I want within reason. In all seriousness, what color should I paint it?

I vote for lightsaber purple paint. Good luck on the surgeries!

Do it!

That might fall outside of "reasonable" as far as parents are concerned XD

My guesses for gifts: Touchscreen Universal Remote and a sound bar for a flat-screen TV.
Paint Color: Forest Green satin/gloss mix

I'd just get em to just mix the same tone of color D: It'll look weird in most colors, considering its 80s exterior And if you're adamant about changing the color, just make sure it isn't too saturated of a color, it'll probably just look out of place ( .____.) gl with the surgery!
gifts - A tie & a fancy ass tie clip?

I'm not adamant about changing. I might get a better brown mixed

Hmkay, no tie is no tie. Can't really get a good gauge for scale, and the relation of the dimensions of the two packages seemed to fit <_>

If purple won't fly, maybe go for pure black or just silver. A shiny new coat of paint as long (as it's an atrocious color) should be alright and make your car look nice whatever it turns out to be ^^ b

The current color of your car is already clean and unique. Why would you spend $ to change it?

He said the paint is starting to fall off so naturally he will repaint it. Therefore, this would be the ideal time to change the color.

My first car was a champagne/peachy-pink grand marquis. Rep that shit.

My girlfriend has a Cressida too. Hers is kind of a deeper purple/almost maroon but it's pretty faded so you can't be sure. Here's my guess at what the color would look like new:
Go with purple dude!

May I ask what vertebral levels you're getting the anterior/posterior spinal fusion on? And what the reason is? Who's the surgeon?
Just curiosity from a med student interested in neurosurgery. You don't have to answer if you don't want to too, some of those are personal questions. Thanks
Also, the original paint color looks good.

Surgeon is Sigurd Berven
