Won't pass judgment until i see some good evidence from either side. Although i guess that will be really hard to find.

07:06 KST - method linked here has been disproved here 10:54 KST - Find a full timeline of pro comments (including Spades) in the topic here. 08:47 KST - Summary: Accusations of maphacking have the potential to destroy a player's career if left unaddressed. Because of the potential consequences, we should be careful about accepting unproven accusations. The principle of 'innocent until proven guilty' should be applied here. That does not mean that there has been a conclusion about this case, however, which is why this thread remains tentatively open. Please discuss with caution and use evidence to back up your claims. He makes some weird decisions that would make a lot of sense if he has maphax, but there are a couple of times of "wtf" like running 30+ marines into a siege line that just don't make any sense if he could see it. There are also points (for example when he tries to make a 3rd on Entombed Valley) where he clearly looks at a part of the map completly hidden in fog of war, which should be impossible with the hack OP described. Can he turn it on and off mid-game? It looks fishy, but I don't think you can prove much with these replays.

G1: 6:15 - Personally I really don't see your grievance with this, not much sign of hacking imo. Strange maybe, but so are a lot of things. 9:11 - If you are looking at his actions you can see him macroing the whole time... 9:30 - The banshee hadn't even left Lucifron's base when he moved the vikings. In any case, wasn't much sense keeping the vikings there, nothing very suspicious about this... 10:45 - Minimap...? 11:02 - He's macroing while the camera is stop. G2: 2:14 - Sends via minimap. I mean what possible reason would there be to intentionally not look? He was very lucky with that scout though, seeing 2 buildings and gas without controling the scv. 6:00 - I'd guess since he didn't scout with the scv, he expected it to be a 2 rax with gas. I certainly thought so when I was looking at it from Spades POV(until I switched to everyone and saw it was a gas first). 7:47 - Yer he totally should've gone further in. I really don't get it, there's nothing really strange about that siege, going further in would've been very risky... 13:42 - I will say yes, I'd personally atleast send rines to scout the path. 14:10 - While I don't see why he didn't move there already, the scan was a big "I'm going to siege below your natural" sign, so that's a perfectly understandable move. 20:30 - I really don't see your point about this. He's moving out... Was lucifron hacking when he scanned at 14:10? Cba to check the other games, but from these first 2 games, your accusation is very thin. If the other ones are more suspicious, I apologize, but then you should've just left the first 2 out, since they prove and show nothing. The stuff that is supposed to see him hacking, I'd be hacking in all my games, since I do them quite regularly... I mean seriously, saying someone is hacking because he used the minimap to send rines to a XT or to scout with the scv? :/ I'm not saying he didn't hack, I'm just saying you really can't accuse someone of that if your arguement is so incredibly thin.

He then realises LucifroN's army is gonna come that way for a drop instead of going to the xel'naga and he runs away with all his hellions, miracly avoiding LucifroN's army. haha, that was some amazing starsense right there! just watched it.

Regardless of what is the truth behind this incident, Blizzard really needs to step up their game. The fact that hacks that give a player a huge advantage are so easy to find and use is quite appalling in itself. Now add in how rarely ban waves are done and how hard the hacks are to detect, and we got ourselves a case of broken integrity here. If Blizzard made it atleast harder, if not impossible to use hacks, especially long-term without a punishment, I would have a lot better feeling about the future of sc2.

It's the most important thing here. I'm simply saying its stupid of him to cop out and retire because of accusations, a few posts directly after he says he wants to make this his career. He came to TL and saw a post that is turning his career into a burning wreck. Have some compassion and give him the benefit of the doubt. Instead of analyzing his panicked replies for nuances, focus on actual evidence.

Pretty good macro, although maybe the builds aren't as refined as Lucifron's. Pro-level APM, certainly for a foreigners and on par with Lucifron for the most part. If hacking accusations are true, it's disappointing, because there is no doubt he is plenty skilled.
