[?] Spades hacking? - Page 17

07:06 KST - method linked here has been disproved here 10:54 KST - Find a full timeline of pro comments (including Spades) in the topic here. 08:47 KST - Summary: Accusations of maphacking have the potential to destroy a player's career if left unaddressed. Because of the potential consequences, we should be careful about accepting unproven accusations. The principle of 'innocent until proven guilty' should be applied here. That does not mean that there has been a conclusion about this case, however, which is why this thread remains tentatively open. Please discuss with caution and use evidence to back up your claims. Well isnt that strange then that he surdenly playes well vs one of the best players in EU?

Sorry fams but I see this as more of negative attention and reason for people to start blindly boycotting his streams.

I understand that they don't normally do this, but since a pro-gamer is involved wouldn't such a neutral statement be extremely valuable? This is actually the best idea in this entire threads. It wold behoove the mods to maybe get in contact with Rob Simpson and see if he knows of anyways to get this done.

If not, people shouldn't judge so quickly as to say he hacked. It's his career at stake after all. Give the guy a benefit of doubt etc.

Let people see how good you are, no whining about mouse problems, lag or whatever else, just play it. Best way to prove people wrong. Hell, you will even get record viewing numbers after this. Also I'm pretty sure TL staff has an idea who the OP could be, with them seeing IP address and possibly browser settings. Why would Lucifron waste time on this?? LOL. Time is money and no one is going to devote their precious time to waste. And regarding to the original poster, he wanted to be anonymous and thus not reveal who he is. I don't see any wrongdoings by the original poster because when anyone report a crime, they want to be anonymous.

As he explained earlier, he watched the Zain vs Lucifron games earlier and used that. We can't know whether or not he's hacking without real proof either way. Think about it this way, if you're playing a ZvZ and know that your opponent can't hold out against a 6pool very well for whatever reason you'd go for the 6pool if you knew/thought that you couldn't win by any other method right? It makes sense to read your player and if what Spades is saying is true then he made the smart call by watching the games.

Anyone who has knowledge of how the internetz and forums work knows it's pointless to "defend yourself" when an entire community has already decided you're guilty. Lol, in fact if he'd been actively trying to disprove the OP's statements people would be calling him out for being defensive (must be because he's guilty, right?). The human brain excels at rationalizing any stance we have subconciously formed.
