I need to know why people think that it's a good idea, and I need to know what they hope to accomplish with it. I've been reading the thread, so please don't ask me to go read it again. I can assure you, I'm reading it as you read this. I'm preparing a post on who of the available lynches I do not wish to continue playing with and why. I hope everyone, regardless of how they intend to spend their votes, will do the same. Time is short, and I want to be informed. You are clearly NOT reading the game if you don't understand why the cycle system is the best way to handle round 2. I already posted about how it works and the ramifications of using it. It allows for accountability and also responsibility for ones votes.

Prplhz: wishy washy in the extreme, I’d be down to kill him. Cephiro: somewhat aloof claimed vigi, makes sense in his arguments, he’s cool for now. Sandroba: lol isn’t playing the game, I’d be fine killing him Viscera Eyes: Though I disagree with his WBG read, he’s probably the townies of the people I’ve read so far (reading this in order fyi) Mr Wiggles: always a tough read for me, given the presence of prplhz and sandroba I think I’ll wait a bit on wiggles. Meapak_Ziphh: towniest townie who ever towned Radfield: is playing a very kumbaya game, Not very familiar with it but I’m not gonna lynch someone day 1 simply for trying to play nice. Echelon Tee: He’s not really playing either; I’d be fine killing him although he does sorta sound like an apathetic townie. Liquid`Sheth: He’s playing just like the townie sheth I saw last time I played with him, don’t really feel like killing him. Chaoser: Mostly like what I've seen so far, it’s been a while since I’ve seen Chaoser play this active so I’m gonna go old game reading latter but at the moment he’s saying a lot of what I’m thinking/saying. I'm gonna go take a shower, when I get back I'll get started on demonstrating my case against prplhz and Sandroba. In the meantime I encourage you all to drop a vote my way. Remember just one of your precious votes used on me will go along way to ensuring town victory.

All you say on the matter is "See, I told you" which doesn't explain anything chaoser. As far as I'm concerned, with 8 people in the minority, the cycle isn't viable. Am I wrong? what the hell is the difference whether there's one person in the minority or five or eight? The idea is to kill one person, the plan isn't much more complicated than that.

I realize this will be difficult but we need some sort of collective agreement on who to kill. As long as the majority (no pun intended) of us agree on a lynch target then it will be easy to ensure they are killed. For example, say we want to kill sandroba. That leaves 9 people we want to save. We have a total of 90 votes to work with. We vote in such a way to get each 9 players to have 10 votes. This will be done via spreading out (each player will vote for 5 separate people instead of piling all 5 votes on one person). Thus if anyone (dumb townie or mafia) tries to save him they will be unable to get enough votes to do so. And obviously if someone tries to deviate in such a manner we shoot them somehow.

I guess it doesn't really matter that much, but I think that we should at the very least incorporate something that brings in some semblance of accountability. Did you see what chaoser and I discussed?

That's aggravating and disappointing simultaneously. Why do you feel I'm in the same league as an inactive?

I'm giving my votes to Radfield, Sheth, prplhz, Cephiro and MrWiggles. Do whatever the piss you want with that. I'm fine with a Sandroba lynch.

I guess it doesn't really matter that much, but I think that we should at the very least incorporate something that brings in some semblance of accountability. Did you see what chaoser and I discussed? Because we need to ensure that the person in question is actually killed. It's too easy to save someone otherwise, which will cause a shitstorm because someone else will die and we'll have to deal with it. I don't want to have to go through the pain of figuring out whether someone's claim of being a dumb townie is true or not (because you know that is the card that will be pulled out along the way). There's too much accountability to be had. What can we possibly do if things don't go according to plan and there are 8 people that need to be held accountable? There's no way we can deal with it all in an orderly fashion that's good for the town. It will just lead back to random finger pointing. Best to make sure what we want to happens actually happens. As Ace and Katina said the mafia will reveal themselves over time through the minority voting (else they take a big risk of being lynched).

I'll make a spreadsheet with the votes so that we see who has claimed what and how many votes have been placed where. This way if there's some kind of discrepancy later we can kill the people responsible.

Anyway just going to be open about where I'm voting and who I feel I want to stick around. Don't give Cephiro anything until he posts his suspicions in public and explains why that information couldn't be made public before. It's quite difficult to believe town cephiro genuinely believes that sharing his scum reads in public is detrimental and his excuses are just making him look worse.

Cephiro Sandroba Viscera Eyes Mr Wiggles Meapak_Ziphh Radfield Echelon Tee Liquid`Sheth Chaoser I'll be giving my votes to prplhz and Radfield. I haven't decided where the other three go, most likely to Echelon, Wiggles and Sheth atm. That'd leave meapak, chaoser, sandroba and cephiro, all of which I'm perfectly fine with dying. I'm reading the thread since I went to sleep last night.
