XD I'll let him know, though, I think if he hears it from you it might help. :D btw, I dunno if you saw or not (I'm sure you have a lot of PMs), but I sent you some computer-building info, if you're interested. edit: I likewise endorse a (tactfully handled) paypal fund for buying a new rig, since it only makes sense to get folks following you via streaming, at this point, and there are plenty enough who'd like to help dilute the necessary setup costs. Agreed, there's plenty of people who'd be happy to donate (myself included) and if you feel like you need help building it, there's plenty of people who'd be happy to throw it together for you (myslef included, again).

By the way when you need help setting up your stream feel free to PM me. I stream at 1080 with no lag at all and my computer is not the best. You can see the specs on my channel (in signature). It took me forever to finally figure out the correct settings! And you should totally setup the PayPal donate account: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_flow&SESSION=hnvf8wNsJ2uh3NzdQgBEsOMSK-hTFrv26STbsgx9ni4Q7YI-uW08Y5L1JUi&dispatch=5885d80a13c0db1f8e263663d3faee8dcbcd55a50598f04d34b4bf5056870803

I work in conservative political campaigns (hate me if you like) at state and national levels. I've fought a number of battles on affirmative action policies in hiring and education. It is refreshing to be reminded that when you exclude the politics of teams and invite-only events and get down to the game itself, SC2 is the purest form of meritocracy. In other arenas, you see a person of a minority race, or a person who openly lives a lifestyle differing from the "norm", and a fair question arises as to whether that person attained his or her station purely through merit or partially on consideration of this innate quality. SC2 does not suffer this problem. Scarlett has the rare opportunity to represent and inspire those like her and those who admire her while secure in the knowledge that her gender issues have nothing to do with her accomplishment. I am proud to be a part of a community that creates that unique set of circumstances. On a brief aside, I know conservatives are often grouped with certain religious zealots who choose to pander by attacking certain lifestyles. I find it amusing that Jerry Falwell and Lady Gaga have very different notions of what it means to say "God makes no mistakes". I work very hard to drag the more archaic elements in my political party into the 21st century. The truth of the matter is that pure conservatives have nothing negative to say about the choice, or perhaps necessity, of taking steps to live one's life as a different gender than biological sex would suggest. As a person who makes a living crafting public images, I was impressed and encouraged with the minimalist way in which Scarlett addressed the gender issue, as well as the remarkable singlemindedness with which she has NOT addressed it subsequently. For whatever my expertise is worth, she has handled the public side of this flawlessly. I'm sure there will be many people clamoring for interviews, quotes, etc. in future LAN events. I would simply encourage Scarlett to remember that while gender may have added a small amount to the original hype, there is nothing but talent that will sustain it. A while back I donated $1000 in Day [9]'s name to InControl's Rumble in the Bronze, and I wrote him today (hoping my shameless plug of him would earn me some reading time) urging that if he did mention Scarlett on the daily, he should not dwell on the gender issues. It's not that these things aren't important, but it will be so easy over the next few months to materially hurt Scarlett's pro prospects by pigeon-holing her as "the gamer girl" or "the LGBT rep". The signs point to her being a legitimate foreign hope. Those caveats which lend themselves so well to the, "she's good for a girl" mentality can do damage to a long-term career. With the highest respect. /salute TL;DR: Don't let Scarlett get archtyped as "the gamer girl". Keep the focus on play.

Off the topic of StarCraft - I think you're a little cutie patutie and I wanted to squeeze you when I saw your first interview with Hot Bid. I would offer to buy you an EU account but I have a feeling you're going to be worth twice as much as me in about 3-6 months.

If you have not read the books I highly recommend reading them. HBO did do a great job following along with the first book though. I agree with Pretty Little Liars, can be really annoying and stupid at times, but it is still highly addictive. (Though I am half a season behind and after they reveal who "A" is I may loss interest.) And Nikita is an awesome show!

(the online premium service) for some EU countries, so it wasn't so much "leaked" as it was people recording the legal stream and reposting it... dunno if the same thing is happening this week, I intentionally have been avoiding the "early" episodes because I don't want to have nothing to watch each Sunday XD
