Still no university for another week, so I'm actually considering to stay up until 4 am my time (deadline) to say hi to everyone once the game has started and go to bed afterwards, which sounds incredible stupid :p

I didn't shoot him the last two games in a row (as a vig) although I called him mafia in both games because I thought someone else was a better target at that point in time. This time my bullet belongs to him if he gives me a reason to shoot him and if I end up being a vig. TL desperately needs some kind of *hug*-smiley Edit: Massive amounts of edits up there. I really should go to bed

The Party Begins It is 7 PM of the most fateful night of your life. You roll into the manor, through imposing wrought iron gates and are helped out of the carriage by strange masked servants, whose gloved hands have the strength of steel. Once inside, past the massive metal doors, engraved with masks and classical imagery of nymphs and satyrs flocking, you find yourself in a most impressive gathering. It seems everyone here tonight is as masked as you, making their true identities a mystery. Clearly nobles by the way they hold themselves. Among the crowd more of the strange servants walk, hardly noticed, as they carry delightful beverages and perfectly arranged canapes. Before you have a chance to mingle, someone chimes a bell from the stairs, calling to attention. Everyone turns their attention to the voice as the strange servants move back to the walls. It is an masked lady who stands at the stairs, clearly visible by all, wearing a most fantastic gown of silken gossamer. She speaks, her voice silken and soft. "Good evening my Lords and Ladies. I am your hostess tonight, Lady Tourment, and it is a privilege to have you gathered here. First of all, a few basic announcements, and then we shall go back to mingling, which I am sure will be a great delight. First, I have had the servants bar the gates" A few heads turn to see that the gates are in fact firly locked with bars of steel, held in place by imposing cogs and screws. Some mild mutters are heard before Lady Tourment resumes "This is for our safety, and for another reason that will soon become apparent. Secondly, the Queen herself will be gracing us with her presence for a few minutes near the end of the night." Excited whispers break out after this announcement, this is, after all, most unexpected. Lady Tourment, raises both her hands in a silencing gesture before resuming. "Finally, I am pleased to announce that tonight we will be playing a most delightful game. A game of wits, charm, intelligence and most importantly, life and death" Lady Tourment pauses after making that announcement, and even though her face can't be seen through the complex feathered mask, it is very clear she is smiling at the groups consternation. She chimes the bell again for silence, and resumes speaking, as if she hadn't dropped a major revelation. "You see, I have invited six impostors to this masquerade, six men who wish nothing more than to end your way of life. Today we test your fitness to rule, my Lords and Ladies, will you be able to find the impostors in your midst? Every hour, you will tell me if you wish to remove someone from the party, if you do, they will be removed in a most gristly manner. Meanwhile, these men will try to kill you all. If they succeed, then the Queen herself will be killed when the night draws to a close, and this country will explode in flames. If you succeed, I will grant you all what you most desire, and the country will be safe from any further conspiracies, for now, at least." The hall explodes in consternation, yelling and someone in the crowd collapses, fainting. But one man speaks louder than the rest. It is Lord Mattchew, High Lord of the Treasury, who rips off his mask as he draws a pistol. "And if we refuse?" he bellows, his face red with rage, "If I shoot you, you bloody bitch, then what?" he says, raising his pistol and taking a shooters stance towards Lady Tourment. "How uncouth" Lady Tourment mutters, before turning towards him "try me" she says, amusement painted on her voice as she welcomingly opens her arms and makes a small curtsy. Mattchew's face contorts with rage as he presses the trigger. With a deafening boom the pistol goes off, and as the smoke clears, Lady Tourment still stands tall and proud. "Now" she says, her voice a deadly whisper, "it is my turn". She simply claps her hands, and six of the strange looking servants close in towards a befuddled looking Mattchew, as they reach arm length he struggles, but they quickly overwhelm the man as the crowd looks on in stunned immobility, before anyone can move or say anything, Mattchew is quite simply crushed to death, his blood splattering all over the servants. In the scuffle one of the servants masks was knocked off, revealing a mess of cogs and gears, linked together and powering these odd automaton servants. The blood quickly seeps into the automatons clothes and vanishes entirely. "Now that that unpleasantness is done with," Lady Tourment says to the still silent crowd "I remind you that you have one hour to find those in your midst who would kill you. I will retire for now. Have a pleasant evening." She walks up the stairway, pauses and says as an afterthought to the now stirring crowd: "remember, dignity in all things, even in the end." She then vanishes through the door at the end of the stairway. Lord Mattchew, High Lord of the Treasury has been ripped to shreds! Lady Tourment has retreated to her chambers. The Masquerade has begun! You have about 51 hours to determine who to lynch! Remember to vote in the voting thread. The deadline is at a 02:00 GMT (+00:00). As usual, behave like Ladies and Gentlemen. If you didn't get a role, PM me to get one. Also PM me to gain access to the observer quicktopic.
