Believe it or not, sometimes fans like watching their favorite players, even if they're not Code S level and are better known for having an awesome personality.

Personality wise Naniwa is nothing compared to MC... just a big whiny baby who will rage and give up games, whereas MC is always giving his all and you really can't find a funnier more outgoing personality in all of Sc2 imo.
This should be a no brainer, but seeing as how many people actually enjoy Idra's hissy fits.... I guess it's save to say Naniwa will win T.T
NaNiwa is a foreigner.
Why should naniwa being a foreigner be an advantage? Vote for the better player to give better games, and that would be MC. I hate this separation of 'foreigners' and 'koreans', it's like cheering for white basketball players because they're the minority in basketball.. lol
sorry, there's such a thing as being a fan favorite. not to mention as far as "giving better games" that would almost certainly go to naniwa over MC. when i see MC play in tournaments he all-ins in 75% of his games, naniwa is a much more entertaining player to watch.

That's not weird, I always cheer for a black guy playing hockey.

Its a starcraft 2 tournament to see who the best player is. lol. Naniwa and MC should be the only two people there. No offense to incontrol.

It's a StarCraft 2 tournament to see who can play the best to those attending. NASL poll is to decide who we want to see playing in the NASL. Not who is the best for the NASL, the best of the NASL is decided by those who are participating, not by those who aren't or who may not be participating.

Its a contest of skill. The most deserving players exclude incontrol. Sorry to break that to you. Past results speak for themselves.

If it was based on global past results, then we wouldn't need a poll and that clearly would be a concurrent way to decide who should be allowed entry into a tournament.
Unfortunately, that isn't entirely true and how you personally dicate someone's qualifications is obviously different than others (hence the poll).
I think the point is pretty clear that I prefer NaNiwa over MC and I gauge their difference in skill (whether right or wrong) based direct matches between the two.
I think if you'd want to convince me to vote for MC, you'd follow the same distorted train of logic and cite games or series of when MC beat NaNiwa further crippling my point.
I'm surprised naniwa is allowed to play in NASL or wanted to
last time he was in NASL he pretty much talked down about the tournament, I forgot what he said specifically
But I would have preferred the polls to be somewhere else than on facebook, I don't have a facebook account and everytime I go there I can't do anything without them asking me to connect...
I understand that it's good if nasl page gets some hits though

Well, I don't know what to say to that... fair enough, I guess? The only thing I see Naniwa having going for him is being a foreigner. I can't understand how anyone can prefer his play - the comment about MC all-ining 75% of games when compared to Naniwa is just laughable - or his personality.

And you are in a position to judge the players personalitys without ever meeting them? I don't think so.

Doesn't prevent them from trying and basing decisions on that attempt.
