By the same token, though, the way she had those changes of heart suggests that things were a bit more complex. What's most important is your positive mindset

Too bad it has ended, many people including myself dream about something similar (meeting a nice, cute, gamer girl through internet - TL of most places!) to happen in our lives. Somehow I'm 24 and never had a girlfriend and the only good thing about it is only I decide to what to do in my free time, but that's it. GL HF

so a month before i was moving out there to live with her she broke up with me. now too say it left me with a bad taste in my month would be a understatement, but in the end i have to say. it was the funnest time iv had in my life and even today i look back on it and it still hurts but i can at least smile about it and tell a bad ass story haha. so stay strong and am sure you will meet someone even better :D nothing wrong with making a girl blog on team liquid. we have some of the smartest and most colorful people on the internet i know iv been around team liquid since mid 2009 iv been more of a LuKeR but its always nice too read blogs or news about the Community. glhf

A random girl writes you a PM novel on a weeks old blog on a gaming website and you get together from there? How can that not be some kind of scam x) no clue how you turned out to be "together" two months without having your headphones stolen, i guess you were rather lucky in that regard. LOL headphones =P Based on the OP's post count, he might not get the reference, heheh. Anyhow, sad to hear that it didn't work out very well - but I honestly don't think a relationship can fully develop via online interactions only. Friendship works, but there is an emotional line that you can't simply cross by staring at a monitor and talking into a microphone. If you both found many grounds to agree with each other, and got along very well, perhaps you could have met face-to-face? BUT then that's the part where you lose your headphones, so maybe everything turned for the better, indeed. Reading that you were initially successful in an online relationship, I don't see why you can't succeed in an "offline" relationship. Maybe you should head out and help that qtpie downstairs with her math homework? =) Good luck!

Hey, all you guys who have stories similar to this OP, and to 96% of the girl blogs I've read here. Yes you! Do what this man did. You'll be much better for it. 5/5 - a treat to read a girl blog with a sane author.

you're too possessive, too clingy, and too emotional about this she needs time away from you, even if she says she wants to spend all her time with you - give girls time away from you and they will be that much more attracted to you... let them spend all their time with you and they will get burned out quickly (as you saw) the out drinking with friends is probably out drinking with her new bf btw

I was too clingy/emotional. But hey, we learn from our mistakes right? And she won't read this, as i said, she left TL awhile ago (a few months). We talked about it while we were still together. I just thought it would bring me closure, writing a blog since that's where it all started =]

I'm sure you have too. Online relationships are definitely very difficult. It's like...ultimate long distance relationship. I enjoyed reading this girl blog and I wish you luck in the future!
