Hey TL! I decided to round up the majority of my thoughts on ASUS ROG in a blog over at my facebook below is a little sample, but it's definitely not ALL in the same tone as the below section!

While literally 99% of the weekend was peaches and roses, there were one or two mishaps during the event. As I sat in the crowd for the Bronze match, the audience in live attendance have the privilege of 2 extra screens, 1 for each players PoV. During the game on Korhal Compound I briefly glanced over to Lucky’s PoV to see that he was receiving whispers telling him what PuMa was doing etc. Immediately I got up and told the admins because no-one else seemed to notice, which is why there was a pause during said game. Now, by no means am I accusing Lucky of cheating, nor do I know if he even knew what the whispers said, but after the incident here, IEM between Feast and DeMusliM and potentially many others that have gone unnoticed, Strict rules NEED to be enforced concerning this. Of course we could do with LAN (beaten to death but still completely appropriate), but we have to make do with what we have. Busy mode NEEDS to be on otherwise admins shouldn’t start games, period. This kind of illegitimacy is not something anyone should want in Starcraft.
Thank you guys and I hope you approved of my casting if you heard it.

totally agree on the busy mode. btw. the tournament was amazing!

If Blizzard was as supportive for the esports scene as we would like, I'd suggest them a 'tournament mode' which basically shuts down every chat besides the game chat. In addition to that it shows a green flag besides the name in that thingy in the right left corner which one uses to see what race the opponent was. This would enable the opponent to be certain that the other one can't recieve messages. Making this a requirement for tournaments would be the best option.

Nice blog. I've always enjoyed your casting whenever I've seen it and I hope you get more opportunities like this. The field of top tier casters is still really small and I think it has room for you !

I really enjoyed your casting at this event, and I hope to see more of you in the future!

Kaelaris, fantastic casting as usual!
Thanks for blogging your trip!

Thank you guys and I actually think, now that I read it back, I missed out tonnes.. but didn't want it to be tooo long for mega wall of text crits.

A real good read, made me wish I could've been there!

Thank goodness you went and took care of that. I'm not accusing Lucky of cheating either, as I am sure if Lucky were cheating he would have won the tournament easily, but I wonder why Lucky did not pause and report the issue himself? Fear of repercussions for not setting to busy?

How about a tournament mode which doesn't require a constant internet connection that enables us to play games in an offline network . That would kinda solve just about every non-balance related problem with sc2 ^^
