I mean Masons naturally hide stuff from other people and create confusion so surely it is better to keep things in the thread. What is the advantage of a Masoning a player over a thread conversation particularly that you cannot guarantee the person you are talking to is town? In addition to this any and all trolls are going on my FOS list this game. I have yet to have someone explain how trolling is any different to lurking. Yes, but I thought masons knew each others alignment.

Are you talking about survivor roles for the third party? Do elaborate. :p On February 09 2012 06:05 DoYouHas wrote: I would like to join this game but the current deadline is 7am for me. I think that would hamper my ability to play enough that I shouldn't. Can we move the deadline a few hours later so I can have time to wake up, read, and post? I live at a KST -1 schedule, which means moving it to a later time will have me doing final vote-counts, processing orders and writing updates while I am at work. Frankly, I haven't seen anyone have any major problems with the deadline in a game, one can easily catch up despite the deadline. Only House Caller can use nuclear weaponry, House Chezinu has to utilize chemica engineers to activate their Poison Gas kill ability.

Lets say someone cannot be online around lynch time and so they target someone who despite them knowing ends up getting lynched. Do they lose their action or will they get to reuse it before the day post?

Lets say someone cannot be online around lynch time and so they target someone who despite them knowing ends up getting lynched. Do they lose their action or will they get to reuse it before the day post? They get to reuse it IF they send in back-up orders on specific people. E.g. Check L Backup Caller Backup Foolishness In the case above, if L is lynched, Caller becomes the target of their night action. Also, as shown by the order priority given in the second post, if somebody is Vigged or shot by Scum KP after a check is made on them, the result of the check will be given to the checking party, but they will not be refunded their check on the now-dead person.

It also allows for sub-town groups to develop as DT checks are made and trust is formed between individuals. Is this how I should be approaching a PM game? From BC's Guide: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=188179 Private Messaging This feature has been in a fair number of TL games. It is also an amazing tool if used properly. However, if it is not used properly, the mafia will abuse it and potentially win. They are also a function if used improperly will cause people to feel left out and like they don’t matter as players. Pm’s can and do make people elitist in games. IF Pm’s are allowed in a game they should be used properly. Role fishing, small analysis groups, alignment testing. Role fishing is straightforward so I will not go into it at this time. Small analysis groups. These groups need not be large, as you only need a few heads to flesh out analysis on people. It also means that if a red is in your group, it is easier to catch them, and it keeps the other groups safe from infiltration. Alignment testing. This is posting in a way to let you carefully analyze reactions. Townies are more inclined to answer in one way and mafia/blues another. Sometimes this will be obvious such as catching someone lying to you in pm’s or lying in thread. Other times this will be noticing subtle word choices. Regardless of how you opt to use the tool, if you do not feel comfortable in your ability to use them properly do not use them and play the game via the thread. Ask for detail from Ace on this, as he dislikes the PM feature.
