I'd be interested in seeing a side story about the Moon Wars in the 1960s. Apparently, fighting on the Moon was absolute Hell, and Earth-based fighting never even came close to that.
and the plot deepens. conspiracies all around, especially Ryouko. The show is clearly trying to hint that she killed the government guy and altered the orders, but I feel like that's a typical misleading hint. While she definitely has some secrets going on, I got the "mad scientist" feeling when she saw Durandal. That is, she isn't really on any side but just wants to see the relics activate their full power. Nice to see Hibiki not be horrible at fighting this ep, but she (Aoi Yuuki) is still terrible at singing, which ironically I feel is a perfect match for her character. Tsubasa needs to heal up and get back soon though. I just hope the plot doesn't get too convoluted considering it's only 13 eps but I really wouldn't mind a cliffhanger and 2nd season with how good the action's been so far. Then again, that's a formula for failure =/
Wait, so what is Muv Luve Alternative and Unlimited? I know Muv Luv is a VN about romance or something, but the vids about Alternative and Unlimited have mechs and action and fighting. lolwut? Please explain.

Negima went from ecchi to DBZ. Although I think he botched it up a bit here and there, but it improved the manga overall. Honestly I'm happy it's ending, not that I don't like it, but it's rare for a good/decent manga to end. During my years of reading I've only seen Monster/FMA end, also Psyren, but that was forced to end. Deciding to end a manga takes balls and it shows good writing skills. Too many go for the "never ending story" type.
Yeah, I agree. Better it ends on a high note than drags on.
Lol, I'm not sure that it's ending on a high note though. + Show Spoiler +

The Muv Luv Trilogy is 3 VNs.
Extra, Unlimited, Alternative:
Muv Luv is best known for the 3rd entry, MuvLuv Alternative, which is the #1 ranked VN on vndb.org, and the Japanese equilviant last time I heard.
Basic premise: Extra is your generic romcom. Main character is a guy called Shirogane Takeru, and he is your generic romcom MC, except hes actually Ryusei Date voiced by Kira Yamato. So Extra is the romantic comedy crap, and at the end he gets a girl. Extra's purpose is to introduce you to all the characters, Takeru's generic romcom life, and all that stuff. Then Muv Luv Unlimited starts. One day, Takeru wakes up in his bed, his house is deserted. He goes outside, finds his entire city has been laid to ruin, and giant robot is crashed into his house (and like a true /m/an, hes like "woah a giant robot!!!1!!"). Soon enough, he figures out that hes not dreaming, and the world he woke up into is very different than his own, with 100% more despair. Unlimited plays heavily off of the contrast between it and Extra, since it really is a pretty huge genre switch. This includes Takeru dealing with the change in setting, how existing characters are different in this world compared to how they were in Extra, and the lack of some characters as well. And then, in Alternative, shit gets real.
Oh yeah, characters from Kimi ga Nozomu Eien show up throughout the MuvLuv Trilogy, along with characters from various other Age VNs.
All the various MuvLuv stories are all side stories/prequels to Unlimited and Alternative. None have been translated into english, however. The main trilogy is 100% translated.
I hate Yoshida Kazumi. Her reasons for following Yuuji's plans is purely because it's Yuuji's plans. She seems to believe without a doubt that Yuuji is a nice person (even though this cannot be said accurately due to Snake of the Festival) so whatever he plans, she will follow. Maybe she should actually grow some brain and get both sides of the story before deciding to take a side.
At least her winter dress and boots look cute. LoL.

The Flame Hazes now just look like a bunch of close-minded religious fanatics.
And you know what? I think Yuji might just win and screw all these Flame Hazes. There is no point to all this development otherwise.
Anyway, since the death of Sabrac, I now have only Yuji to rely on, so I hope he doesn't disappoint.

they lack that sense of realism that I love, like the 08th ms team but cant really complain since its "sci-fi"
As far as the mecha go, Muvluv is pretty solidly on the real side (the Susanoo notwithstanding ~_~). Most units are only capable of short bursts of low level flight, and armament is limited to conventional guns and explosives, along with swords (and not of the beam variety, mind you). There is a pretty noticeable focus on maneuverability above all else.
Overall, it's not quite VOTOMs level of realism, but it does come pretty close in some respects.
The developments in TWGOK are really feeling dragged out to me at this point. It was exciting and all when the big twist happened, but after 70+ chapters of meandering around the plot, I just want a goddamn ending. Sure, watching Haqua fly around like a maniac during a fight scene is amusing, but this is not really what I signed up for. -_-
So Kazumi Chapter 13 came out, so far Kazumi has been a bit better than Madoka. But then again after Madoka the element of surprise is no longer there, Kazumi was enjoyable but I think I'd be able to enjoy it alot more if I haven't seen Madoka. but hey it's still pretty fun to read.
Is this also a manga discussion thread? If so, is anyone here reading mahou sensei negima right now? Its one of my favorite series but all of a sudden KA decided to do the kubo Why do good series always get incomplete ends QQ
I was actually thinking about this, and I feel like I would have been happier if he got all sad and pitiful again and Inori had to comfort him instead of hare this time. It'd get rid of his reliance on Hare as well as build the relationship between the 2 main characters.
BUT NOPE JUST GO CRAZY THO
I think it's still good to have a change though. A lot of people are probably looking forward to new crazy shu :D
I agree this is definitely getting dragged out way longer than necessary. But Haqua too good, in more ways than one. I've missed her so much, so I'll let this week's continued lack of plot slide.

Everybody knows he's gonna end up with Evangeline Kitty McLoli. She's the best girl anyway. Only Yuecchi comes anywhere close to her level.
I, actually, always favored Nodoka. n_n
So Muv Luv and all of its sequels/prequels are VNs and not anime? Sad face.
Also, does anyone know where to find a Vocaloid radio station for wmp? No one replied in the Vocaloids thread so I figured the next best place to ask was here.
