Ditz isn't a character, nor is being indecisive, and being cute certainly isn't unless your name is Sengoku Nadeko. Ayatsuji is pretty much the only character that isn't completely flat in the show. Luckily the non-flat parts include hints of being insane enough for yandere. | ||

Even when its Karen-chan (the tomboy) they still manage to show fanservice with her and get my blood flowing (just a tad bit). Towards the end when he wanted to contract the illness from her, I could already guessed how he was gonna do it haha. Typical shit lol. Good ep though, finally getting somewhere. Edit: Dude Kaoru is number 1 bro. I love her personality: she gives off the edginess of a boy, but is all lovey dovey on the inside too. Traits like that is a major turn on for me ^_^ | ||

While Tsukasa may seem tsundere, this is an incorrect interpretation (partly the fault of the TV Series having to cut a lot of detail out which leads to some biased moments). I would argue that it would be more correct to say that Ayatsuji is two faced. She is an incredibly driven, motivated and self-centred person who is fixated on results and achievement and is more than happy to play the wolf in sheep's clothing. It is worth noting that in a lot of the other arcs, Ayatsuji doesn't actually hang out with friends and instead pre-occupies herself with the duties of Class Rep, Student Council and work. In first season when she snaps at the girls who had been spreading rumours about her, this is not her overreacting but more her being her true self. It is also worth nothing that when she finally talks to our protagonist after the festival, she mentions that the specific reason she was putting on a façade wasn't because she actually believed in it but rather because she saw it as a means of obtaining him and his support. Her rather sour and dichotomous relationship with her sister doesn't help in any regards either. That itself is quite a lot to go into and probably contains spoilers but suffice to say it's not a simple affair. | ||

Haruka although has almost no depth or character, is still quite enjoyable. Free spirited, fun-loving, miss perfect/beautiful ditz is fine. Kaoru is pretty cool actually. A little mischievous, brave, energetic and outgoing. Prolly a fun person to be around with. Ai Nanasaki has the cat-eyes cool/carring demeanour. Rihoko and Sae are just roadkill. Overall I am disappoint with Amagami SS+. Not quite sure what I was expecting, but I'm pretty sure it was not what I got. | ||

As for fun, since there are basically no thoughts behind her action, I might as well as go look at a RNG. The idea for her route is there, the execution and the writing just fails to make anything out of it. Kaoru's character is eh, plain. Not exactly a problem but not interesting. Her interactions with Junichi are like, even more zzz. I don't mind this kind of plainness and 'realism' in characters, but it needs to be done as a contrast and be put in comparison to other things. The way Amagami is written unfortunately feels much more parallel and have no significant interaction between arcs to let you compare the character. Which leads to the problem of having a plain character trying to pull a story together, which just doesn't happen when the protagonist is the useless one of the Tachibana family. Rihoko is like a fail Nadeko with boobs instead of being loli, especially since they still can't get anything out of her other than friendzone. Nah anime made all that pretty clear, it just wasn't a well written source in the first place. Summing her up as just tsundere is unfortunately correct enough that I can't really complain. | ||

She is good enough to get a huge monologue later on in the series though. With a series like this, being such a good conversationalist scores so much on my book. Not counting the characters who got narrator spots in season 2, I think Tsukihi probably has the highest amount of lines after Gahara-san and Shinobu. (so not counting Hanekawa, Nadeko, Kanbaru and + Show Spoiler [Monogatari series books] + Kaiki Also fewer intentional bokes is made up for the fact that she snaps at will. | ||

Didnt get to much out of that than the usual enjoyment till the end, standard Hanekawa, Tsukihi was good I dont get the similarity to Gahara san though aside from the fact that she humilities him but in a very very different tone. But thats just a consequence of the relationship. Kaiki was spoilered for me already so again knew what to expect. The only thing that really interests me at the moment having read Kizu is how Shinobu is behaving now relative to her persona there. Would the old Shinobu/Kiss-shot have actually beat around the bush and said something like "I dont recommend this solution". I feel like that instance the old one wouldve just said heres how you solve it rather bluntly and let Koyomi realise she was doing him a favour yet maintain the situation being inconsequential to her personally. Just finished Kara no Kyoukai, guess I'll try Symphogear since it seems to have gotten better since the first episode running out of non-mecha stuff to be interested in. | ||

In fact, I am PRETTY SURE that this show would be better without the fan service... which always shows up at the most inappropriate places. Come on! Why would you want to show Asia with bare breasts while she lay dying? | ||
