He was lying on the ground unconscious, with what I think were burn marks (though it's hard to tell). It's not like he had a massive wound and was bleeding out, like Hare was. She really had no reason to believe he was that close to death or at the very least that he would die before she did.

Inori has always wanted Shu to use her. Every time he would not want to, she would sooth him and tell him it was okay to do so. I can get her being scared at the new Shu, but that's no reason to try and fight him off when he's trying to save everyone.

Damn, Chiffon is dead. Totally expected as she was too imba to be around but still sucks to see it actually happen

I actually teared up a good amount during this ep. Finally Hare gets the attention she deserves but has to die to get it. What a fucking load of garbage, the MC pisses me off so much. But adding this kind of depth to Shu is what made this show infinitely better, now we see a new personality of Shu, a BAMF.

The part where Inori's void was taken unwillingly was crazy, Shu is really starting to become the total opposite now. He no longer bears the "guilt" of using other people's voids. Show just got so much fucking better.

But now Im 0-2 of my favorite characters being killed off... FUCK.

These are not infallible logical fallacies its just behaviour. Its a decision either party made so whether it makes sense to you or not is not important, whats important is what they decided to do. Its a life and death situation and as far as the show is concerned she did whatever she felt she needed to, same for Inori nutso batty eyed Shoe comes and aggressively moves at you, even if hes pulling out your void youll be like what the fuck get off me, not matter how horny you are to get your void pulled out, pretty natural response. You cant complain as if they should know better, I certainly dont think I have enough information to say X was the right thing to do but she did Y wtf ? Dont know where you got it.

But lets just say it was stupid for them to do it. Bit late to be complaining now. Why not start earlier ?

You could probably go on and on. Its really silly when people pick and choose what they want to complain about when similar things are happening consistently. Theres no point in trying to be smarter than the show when its so generic. Unless its overwhelmingly stupid (and I didnt think it was) like trying to be too clever with writing and failing hard yea sure every right to bitch about it. Sometimes shows do go out of their way to explain certain instances but you can usually tell pretty early wether something like that is intended or not. GC never gave that vibe, ever

But that's Shu's characters. He doesn't think things through, he just does everything he can to help people. Hare did what you'd expect her character to do, so there's nothing really wrong there, I just thought it was really stupid on her part. I was hoping she had a bit more respect for herself, and while it was obvious she liked Shu, I never thought she felt so strongly she'd die for him. Though that could just be because she got very little focus until recently.

Inori on the other hand, did something you wouldn't really expect her to do. She put herself above Shu. All this time up until now she idolized him, and now suddenly she does a 180 turn on him. I could understand her being surprised, I could even understand her being afraid. But there's a large difference between being stunned by the situation, and physically resisting someone who up until now you've trusted. It's too big of a jump to be believable to me.

Yea because if someone's girlfriend would make them crazy eyes and letsss sayyy I dont know hug you violently or do anything out of the ordinary that makes you uncomfortable you dont push them away you instead have time to be afraid and be like yea I dont like this but you can do it anyway cuz its what you always do... NOT, anyone would be like gtfo, unless your some brainwashed slave or whatever. Conditioned response really.

Your making so many presumptions about things that just havent been concrete till they are tested. Including Inori a character that has flopped around on how she feels about him for a while. Do I love him ? Is this love ? What is this ?" The only person she's actually shown any devotion or subservience to is Gai, "I did it because Gai said so.", "Gai gave me a name" etc etc. And even that wavered, I dont think you transition from seemingly unwavering devotion to someone and then become completely subserviant to someone else like righttt after they die. At best you are confused, if your a loose Ayanami Rei clone its even worse. Atleast Rei was stubborn as fuck till the end. Yea thats some real idolizing

For me upto now she hasnt come to any concrete terms with what she and Shoe are really about, hence the getting scared and resisting. She was not simply stunned, she freaked the fuck out because of what he was doing. And honsetly if someone uses force and you resist even if you didnt mean to and then they apply even more force, you sure as hell arent going to let them do what they want. I dont care if you had their babies. It happens very quickly what 2-3 seconds ? and its perfectly plausible.

I dont remember anything aside from "Shoe I believe in you" and some erratic behaviour on her part compared to her supposed personality prior to meeting and living with Shoe to even remotely suggest otherwise.

Point being she may well have not freaked out at all and just let him pull it out, but she didnt which goes a long way to show what theyre deal really is rather than it being unreasonable because we supposedly already know what the deal is and this was the abberation. We dont, I dont. Not even with Hare, we knew she was kind and she cared for others and Shoe in particular. Now we know she valued Shoe's life more than her own, provided she knew she could save herself but still did it anyway. You cant actually test that till it actually happens and even then there is some doubt, because she may well have believed it was beyond her ability to heal herself at all so she went for Shoe, cuz well 1 dead person is better than 2.

Im not saying that what your saying couldnt have happened. Im just saying there was no reason it absolutely 100 percent had to. So it didnt. There no reason to go "OMG this is to much a of stretch why she push him away, she was his slave doll", because as far as Im concerned she isnt.

But we can agree to disagree on that part. Thats fine with me.

The Flame Hazes now just look like a bunch of close-minded religious fanatics.

And you know what? I think Yuji might just win and screw all these Flame Hazes. There is no point to all this development otherwise.

Anyway, since the death of Sabrac, I now have only Yuji to rely on, so I hope he doesn't disappoint.
