Ya, remember Dan? Everyone forgot about him by now I bet. You guys are the worst, he was the best male character by far.
Guts!!! You gotta have GUTS!!! As if Hare ever significantly contributed to the plot in the first place lol, give me a break And Ayase pretty much fawns over Gai and shakes her tits everytime she gets stung in her mech, then mopes around about not having said mech or said Gai to fawn over. Then has to have the previously most useless character in the show fix her up and redeem herself with *gasp* skates. Hare can rebuild entire bridges, paraplegic girls skates. hmmmmmmm... Not that I care for either 1. I troll voted Tsugumi. edit :Also no one would forget Dan Hare and Ayase's void powers are irrelevant to their significance to the plot. Emnjay was saying he was losing interest in GC's plot because Hare isn't getting any screen time. My point was she barely did anything in the story to begin with.
I like Hare. I think I just feel sympathy for friend-zoned characters. :/

Void powers was just an excuse to shit on her void, I just didnt get why she was so overwhelmingly popular in the poll, Im more curious whether people picked her because they really think shes awesome or because well Inori's a bit of a drag and shes the next in line.
and yea ZnF is right, if GC were to go into sol/school romance mode for a couple of weeks (but why would it) Hare has a major role to play as forever friend zoned. She'll always give the winner a real run for their money but you know shes never going to win.

You mean why Ayase is overwhelming popular? Its because she is the best developed character. Inori is no more than an Ayanami Rei, and Hare is an extremely boring childhood friend character who never does anything. Tsugumi is the token loli, and hasn't gotten much development at all. Ayase is like the winner by default.

I got the coming of age part, but not the symbolism nor most of the comedy. Perhaps I'm just thick.

Yea I guess thats fair. Although personally the developement wasnt particularly appealing to me. But thats the thing isnt it, its more a case of winner by default. The way you describe the others she's the only developed character.

Hare was the backbone of emotional stability and support for Shu: + Show Spoiler +Remember when Shu lost himself after killing Yahiro's brother? Hare bitch-slapped the fuck out of him when he tried to make advances on her, just to take his mind off of things. But hare wasnt having it. She understands who Shu is, and despite him confessing to her, she resisted and whipped him back into shape. I doubt any of the other heroines understands Shu at the same level as Hare. But what happens with Hare? She gets fucking friend-zoned. Mother FUCKER. No justice at all. /end rant

Honestly it seems like she was friend-zoned from the start. I thought:
+ Show Spoiler +He confessed he knew she loved him, not that he loved her.

Which sucks because she's honestly a really nice person.

There is 12000 years between Genesis of Aquarion and EVOL. So it helps to have watched the original, but honestly it isn't really required due to the time difference.

Not like Ayase or Inori have ever done similar things for Shoe over the course of the show, in addition to everything else.

Ayase trained him into the man he is. Ayase brought Shoe into the Undertakers. Shoe is arguably her prodigy.
She was more disappointed than anyone when he turned out to be a pussy.
She is without a doubt the main character. Who is this Hare slut you are talking about? Hell even her name suggests she fucks like a rabbit.

+ Show Spoiler +Shows not over. Also that was the least important part about what I said anyway. Just like Hare's name means she fucks like a slut etc etc.. You know the part where Ayase didnt do any of the shit you claim she did. What about that :p
Well she was disappointed+ Show Spoiler + cuz o noes, my beloved Gai's plans will fail without this pussys void.
