Him not calling her mom, and the general way he acts around her gives the impression he probably doesn't think of her as his mother. Seems more like an older sister/younger brother relationship.
Haruka works for GHQ, which voids her from being a heroine anyways.
Inori is a doll, and a boring one at that.
Mana existed for all of two episodes, before dying, again. Not to mention most of what we know of her was just a flashblack.
Hare, Ayase and Tsugumi are the better ones. Hare is entirely a supporting character though, so she's out.
I liked Ayase more back when she was "Yeah I'm in a wheelchair, but I can take care of myself". Then she went all emo, and now she has the ability to use her legs, effectively ruining what made her cool to begin with.
So I'd have to go with Tsugumi.

I never thought I'd hear Sentenal liking a Kana Hanazawa role. Now he likes 2. Hopefully she keeps doing such roles.
Also, I started and caught up to the space pirates show. It wasn't what I expected (no, I did not expect K-ON: In Space!) but it's not bad so far. The pacing is slower than I would like but considering this will be 26 eps, I'll accept it for now. Also, Shizuka Itou. 5 minutes into the first episode and I was like "THIS VOICE"

Hare and Ayase's void powers are irrelevant to their significance to the plot. Emnjay was saying he was losing interest in GC's plot because Hare isn't getting any screen time. My point was she barely did anything in the story to begin with.
