Savior could hear the audience or his opponent could hear the audience? And what particular consequence did it have to the game? Labeling it as an 'incident', I expected that something of interest actually happened.

I'm not sure if I have it right, but it looks like savior heard the girls in the audience scream when the announcer showed the 5-pool. He stuck his tongue out and did a "well, announcer clearly is showing my pool and people have reacted, hope he doesn't figure it out" face. and then he throws down 2 rax. Maybe ear hacking both ways, I can't really tell the timing of the barracks.
Highlights of his afreeca play, really cool video! 6:45 PIMP move
Though I hate his actions and denounce him as a legend...
That video is fucking baller as hell. Shit.
those storm drop dodges were fucking badass O_O
+ lurker egg mine drag wtf
Though I hate to deviate from the main point of this thread... I rewatched this video and am heartbroken that BW is the way it is today. How does SC2 even get close to this level of amazingness... don't die BW =( =( =(
Damn you Savior. For killing BW, and yet for being so damn fucking good. I hate you.

Savior is not inherently bad, he is no different than any of us. A lot of people would have done that exact same thing that Savior would have done if they were in his position.
I fully agree with this. You cannot simply judge someone if you never put yourself in that person's shoes. You can label his action as bad and unforgivable, but you can't simply label him as an immoral cold-hearted bastard just because of this. I did a lot of horribly bad things in the past, and if the people around me treated me the same as the korean scene is treating savior, I daresay that i will not have any friends for the rest of my life. Do I regret what I did? Hell yes. But thinking back to why I did the things that I did, and putting myself in my own shoes in those past incidents, I would say 90% that I would do those things again. The point I'm trying to make is that you can't simply label someone as bad just because of one incident.
It's easy for us to judge Savior and say things like he should be put in jail and whatever. But when i put myself in his shoes i find his actions much more forgiving. He's into his 20s and sacrificed all his education and young adulthood into progaming, if I can make some money on the side, whether its match fixing or not, i would have done what he did.
I agree with this. The fact that he made a big life mistake...I understand what it's like to have done bad things in the past and it's why I love savior. We all make mistakes, big and small.
I hate it when people bring out the "it's ok to make mistakes" card. That doesn't mean anything here. Theres a very clear line between making an honest mistake and a criminal act.
I still don't understand how some people still support him. How many times do I and others have to repeat that he destroyed a very significant amount of korean BW? Does this fact not register in your brains? Everyone here is sad about the fact that MBCGame is gone and that there are only 8 teams left, which is something that savior had a direct hand in doing. Does this not register in your head?
Don't compare esports to football or baseball. Those are very established sports with lots of support and popularity. BW in Korea and other esports are still growing and they are very sensitive to outside influence.
"A clear line between making an honest mistake and a criminal act" is different than what you're suggesting in the rest of your post, which is that the consequences of his actions were so great in magnitude that his mistake is unforgivable. Your argument doesn't support your thesis. Given that Savior really did play a direct role in MSL disappearing though, I do agree that he's irredeemable in the eyes of the public.
My argument doesn't support my thesis? What are you trying to get at...lol. Some criminal acts are bad enough to be unforgivable.
I think the main point is that people still idolize him even though he did these terrible things. Also, He never apologized for his actions while still taking money from streaming? Seriously guys doesn't take much to figure out that this guy has no moral code and people shouldn't be going gaga over his games. All these new players are x10's better than this guy is so, I still don't see why people still need to feel amazed by him.

He did apologize.
Quality of games and/or highlights of games are not subjective based on who is at the keyboard.
The contents of this thread are turning into a game of "who can come up with the most powerful phrase to win an argument". The extend of Savior's damage to the scene, on the other hand, is subjective; to discuss the scandal either resurrect an old thread or start a new one. As far as I can tell, this one is for a BW stream.
Honestly I feel that if sAviOr murdered a guy instead of matchfixing, after his release from jail, people would be more welcomed for him to play professionally again because murdering a guy doesn't directly affect the progaming scene.

Match fixing is not one of those unforgivable criminal acts. In my opinion. A few years ban would have worked i think. But I think he'll be better off staying outside of esports, he'll be happier somewhere else.

In reality, there aren't that many new BW players. Savior did apologize, so you are just factually wrong. But even if you weren't, it's utterly irrelevant. So he gets some money from streaming. It has nothing to do with the Proleague. You wouldn't object if he never apologized (although he did apologize) but still got money from driving a taxi.
Why do people not seem to understand the seriousness of it. In a fragile scene where it's relying on few sponsors to run everything who will pull out if publicity is bad enough. He affected many peoples careers from his selfish acts when he was one of the better paid players in the first place. Now there's a negative stigma attached to Starcraft in the future as well which affects what sponsors will even considering getting involved.
Who the fuck cares about his play anyway, he was hugely disappointing for ages... every game it was just people making jokes about him claiming he was going to destroy everyone. Now all these people, loads of which who were not even around in the first place are trivializing the whole thing and wanting him to come back despite sucking even harder. It's not subjective if it's bad for the scene it's very obviously significant.
Since nobody streaming savior (Kiante, hirosue stopped streaming him cuz of stupid admins scared them and unfeatured them and believe or not they got so scary than even they deleted past recordings T_T) i manage to save couple of games. Enjoy they are good games. [url blocked]

What the fuck..
Hirosue got PM that says, if he continue streaming he will be unfeatured and now hirosue not wanna stream savior anymore. Almost the same for Kiante. i dont know how featured system works and who can deserve it (bakury just started streaming 10x to me and he got featured automatically o0) but i dont care who is featured who not if i can i will stream and record 24/7 savior cuz he is N1. But no some ppl dont want to hear about unfeatured,, idk cuz they will lost the gooood repotation or viewvers?... omg and now we all lost savior streaming....
