Hmm. Attending the NASL finals would be a great way to kick off my winter break. Still have to see whether the players who make it to the playoffs interest me though.
|
I'll be there. Please bring new casters for this event. Please, please god.
Looking forward to it.

That's a lot of dough! I think the Final is going to amazing!

Jesus, how do you guys manage to have a prize pool so enormous but a tournament so lackluster?
Jesus Christ.

In Canada?! Awesome! Too bad I live in Halifax....

Omg I'm so hyped right now reading this! The fact that there are no Bo3 makes it even better, I much more enjoy Bo5 and Bo7 for the EPIC comebacks they can generate.
I just wished I would have budget or time to physically be there... and no chance for my small town to have a barcraft or anything :/

is the distribution!
Why such a huge difference? :S Why not? the lower prize money is still quite good and the winner should by all means get a big chunk of the prize pool. The finals will essentially be played for 20k, one match, awesome. Hopefully Strelok gets through to the finals so he can get what he deserved last time Now I am worried that the choice of words for the upcoming casters were "fun"...

Misanthrope, you could have clicked all of them instead of making that post.

To be fair, most of them are TBA, so it would be pointless.

NASL definitively needs to change the tournament for next season. Half way through the season we pretty much know who half of the playoff players are going to be and who's not going to make it and it creates matches that don't matter anymore.

Unfortunately I feel like Starcraft can't really adapt that strategy considering it isn't nearly as large with as many viewers.

Most important thing:
RO16 - BO5
Huge change. Much appreciated.
