Just happen to be in LA celebrating my wife's 30th birthday while on vacation and realized the timing matched up with this. Just finished booking my tickets. Unfortunately I can only go on Sunday evening, but that's better than nothing right. Never thought I'd get to see a big live event like this.

Hopefully I'll still have some time to meet some cool people!

wow, SC2 finals starting at 03:00 GMT is pretty brutal... to be honest I think you might lose a lot of european viewers because of that.

Being honest here, it's a sunday night, and I'm sure a lot of EU viewers won't be able to tune in. My 2 cents...

If you switched it with the HoN, you'd probably get more viewers.

Isn't HerO now heavily favored to win this? He's bested Puma several times now and he may have a problem facing HuK, but other than he is favored against everyone else.

OUCH, the start time is brutal!

the friday start time to be exact. Its at Noon for sc2 games.
Most of us get off of work at 3-5pm. Missing almost all of day 1.
With this being a single elimination style tourney, you face not being able to see any games from your favorite player.
