Honestly who expected this - ever?
14 SC2 events running at once, more still happening today, more than 110+ live streams running simultaneously. And this has been a standard practice in the last few weeks/months too.
July 27th I definitely did not expect this to happen, especially in the span of little over a year. I just think this is amazing, go SC2! <3 (:

Yes, go Sc2!
Though I only count 13 at this particular moment. : )

The Go4SC2 just ended ;P.
Now I need someone to implement a 14 multiview like the one for MLG so I can watch all these at once (:

one of them is BW at least. Sayle is sportin the gosucup ^__^ so many events you cant even figure out whats what. Its like awesome, and yet bad at the same time. Cant watch them all!

Amazing? It's insanity!! How do they all expect viewers to follow everything? IMO a lot of stuff could be consolidated into bigger events with better prize pools and more participants, as well as larger audiences, which in turn means more advertising revenue for the event operators which means bigger and better events later.

I do think Starcraft needs an international body. In a way something similar to KeSPA, but without all the things we disliked about it. It is just hectic how it works, because right now you get some big events like IEM NY that gets only 2k viewers on a final weekend because MLG is going on.
And you poor guys updating liquipedia, must be difficult when you have 20 tournaments everyday ^^;;
Because right now it really is just a FFA for who can get more viewers, so you have a million matches everyday, which I don't think is the right approach. In BW they created a lot less content, but the anticipation for the games was super exciting. I'm not sure how many of you were here for even TSL3, but that was arguably the most exciting tournament, and it's because people were anticipating these games, and it was just awesome!

I wonder how many total viewers they all have combined. ^^

this is another thing that turns me off of SC2. there's so many tournaments that almost never actually have the best of the best in them are just not worth watching if you have limited time to watch anything. sometimes less is more.

I agree. But great to see many events anyway.

Actually, this would be really cool. And with a wizard like R1CH, maybe he can do it. A total viewer count would really help us watch ESPORTS, even when the viewers are split over 14 events (+featured streams and non featured)
The number of events is pretty crazy, and definitely hard to keep up with. As mentioned, it would be nice to get them organized a bit, because things like IEM/MLG on the same weekend is pretty unfortunate, though hasn't yet been too common
