A few hundred posts ago, I decided that my 2000th post would be something cool and interesting. Yesterday, I hit 1999.
I had two ideas. One was to write a guide based on an idiosyncratic TvZ all-in I use, in enough detail that people would be able to execute and understand it and all that jazz. I'd upload a bunch of replays and it would be detailed and sweet. The guide is actually half-written already. The other idea was to publish the entirety of the screenplay I've been working on and partially posted here, Blood and Metal. Sadly, I've only written the first 2 acts Blood and Metal, and there remains one unwritten. I can only write at a certain speed.
Sadly, neither of these projects are anywhere near complete, and I still have work to do. There are replays in the SC2 Strategy forum to analyze, custom maps to play on and test, beginners to help and build orders to discuss. I have obligations, to myself and to the people I help.
I can't afford to stop posting right now. This 2000th post here is because, right now, the only contribution I can make to TL in return for being such an awesome community is to keep on sharing what I know and learning what others have to say.
Nah man, every day is a good day to contribute to TL :p. A milestone post shouldn't force you to find some way to contribute. If you feel like making a guide, do it when you can; I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate it.
Don't worry about not "delivering" with your 2k post, you've delivered in the Strategy forum so many times before that it doesn't matter. I just started playing T recently, and your posts are helping me improve so much. You're awesome. <3 Tho you should hop on Blood and Metal, lol. I wanna know what happens next!
On a personal note, I'd like to thank Blazinghand for helping to playtest the two maps I made for the TL Map Contest, as well as the other maps he's help test (heh, I'm actually stalking you in with the search to see whose maps you are testing to see what you have to say about them). I think it is supremely awesome of you to lend that time to us as I may have mentioned in other threads.
