People are only looking at the top finishes of a tournament and will determine their skill from that. Well yea, its def bad to just look at 'oh stephano lost to alive he sucks' or something like that. When i say basing off of results, i still say 'hey that kid is a beast cause he went 15-0 before losing in mlg'. To me thats impressive and i'll still use that when judging the player, even if its not a top 3 finish. Thats why these discussions are hard to choose. Everybody has different opinions and everybody bases their opinion off of different skills. Instead of saying 'these people are best' id love to just see 'these people could go on a huge tear if they have a good consistent day'. Polt just lost in the open bracket, but i wouldn't call him shitty for it by no means.

Obviously I don't mean the exact build order, but expanding in PvP will become quite common sooner rather than later (providing there aren't more changes that make it more difficult in the future). Things just take a little time to develop after the patch changes because the players still default to builds that they have been practicing for months instead of experimenting on the fly. Yes, a decent all-in build can break that, but the point is that the all-in builds are now equally risky as expanding (if not more) and going for the midgame. Inori held blink timings easily in IPL3 btw. SaSe didnt expand until he saw the second gas, and confirmed that a balls 4gate would be delayed at least 30-40 seconds. It could be vunerable to some all-in's, but SaSe is arguably up there with HuK in the top 3 control club

I'm such in the Jinro train in the TvP area xD I see all korean terran pwning protoss left and right, and whatever I do TvP is my worst matchup. If I had only my playing experience to judge I would say that protoss is imba haha :D (which I know is not true obviously) I think Jinro is more or less in the same boat (well, I'm in the same boat as him is more correct).

Inori held blink timings easily in IPL3 btw. I think robo+immortal expands will become common but sases build was like 1gate expand into robo into two gates and barely has anything for when a blink timing comes. I get your point that expand builds will become common I was just saying that his build was tailored to how hasu plays. I'm sure he would never try that build vs somebody like huk who loves blink stalkers.
