I've been into dance music for a few years now. I mainly like all variations of house music. I've been DJing for a few years now so production only seems natural. I got FL studio 10 about a week a go.
This is what I've come up with: http://soundcloud.com/lambtron/sean-kingston-letting-go-dutty
It's moombahton style, which is a relatively new genre. It's also pretty repetitive, but that's because I still have much to learn. I'll take any and all constructive criticism, especially concerning mastering!
thanks!

I tried to listen to it but the base tune that you open up with keeps going too long and too prominently. You could take it out at some points to create a whole new song.

Not too shabby, needs a bit more going on though, and that bass hit needs compressing/EQ (clipping badly..at least on my speaks) Btw, is the main loop (the little melody) made with a VSTi and midi or just a looped sample? Just curious. Not a bad first track though, keep at it.

i have no experience of moombathon, but im actually guessing this is a pretty decent track for its genre. Production wise youre at the tuning stage rather than the learning stage.
