Can they do this? Is there really a law that forbids people younger as X to be out later as X?? A curfew?? I don't even think most dictators / police states have this.
I know if a cop tries to do something like that here, he would be laughed at so hard it's not even funny anymore. Minors aren't allowed to be out unsupervised after a certain time. That's true in virtually all civilised countries. Without trying to start an argument over whether such laws are good or not, this is far from true.
Yea, i've never heard of this where i come from, sounds really strange.

Wait, how do you know you would've won without interference?
Besides, 4gate Nexus cancel is lame, can't believe you can call yourself a friend doing that. Justice interfered imo xD

Wow, cop doesnt even arrest anyone or do anything wrong and they still get s***.

That sucks. Every little thing counts in a game and that was certainly not a little thing.

lol what? Never heard of this, sounds like you live in a really strange area / country. This sounds exactly like curfew.

Sure is where I lived. Unless you were going to and from work if you under 16 you had to be back home by 10 on weekdays and 12 on weekends.

Yes he did.
He promised to play the matches that should have been the finals though which was cool.

Yeah not just unknown in europe - doesn't exist here either. By all civilised countries do you just mean America, or was there a 2nd country?

This happened a lot. As well as yelling at me to do chores while I tell them I can't save.
There's no curfew thing I'm aware of in Canada. Maybe it only happens in more remote cities.

If there is a law for this and the cop is doing his job who am I to blame him for doing it. Perhaps he even thinks it's a stupid law himself but we all have to do things at work we don't like. He can't help it somebody thought it was a good idea to implement this law.

Yeah I live in the USA (as does the OP) and I've literally never heard of this either. WTF?

There are curfew laws all over the US, just most of the time not enforced since it infringes upon other rights.

if a police officer comes across a 12-16 year old at 2 in the morning by themselves they have the responsibility to ensure the child gets either home or to their destination safely. That's pretty normal. However going into a place and checking ID's is a little bit much. And yes younger children apply... but why the fuck is an 8 year old walking around at 2am. -.- lol

in emergency situations, this is true for adults as well. for example, post-hurricanes in south florida, where i live, there is often a curfew on everyone of like 11 pm (unless traveling to/from work), to prevent looting and crime and shit when the cops are busy dealing with post-hurricane shit
