Before MLG even starts - shit has happened. Mango and R1CH picked me up on their way down from NYC this morning. And by this morning I mean noon (originally it was going to be 8am but JERSEYTRAFFICLOL). It started off pretty uneventfully. We drove down to Maryland and picked up orb. From there things got interesting. After eating lunch I went into the bathroom and some employee woman chided me about waiting until she was done cleaning. Silence, woman, I have to piss.
Next up we spend an hour listening to Pandora buffer. So we switch to my iPod instead. Turns out if you start playing metal Mango is lulled into a deep sleep.
We keep on going for a bit when suddenly TRAFFIC. We sit in traffic for about 25 miles (no exaggeration here). Suddenly storm. It's a pretty standard affair at first. After about an hour it starts to pick up, and I take over driving from orb, whose foot has long since fallen asleep.
For the next 3 hours I drive through the most intense storm I've ever been in. And it wasn't even Irene (that bitch). Visibility is about 300 feet. Every curve in the road requires turning the wheel, and every time I turned the wheel I had about a 1 in 3 chance of hydroplaning and losing complete control. I drifted pretty far a couple times before I got control back but I think everyone was asleep so don't tell them. Later, I was passing a guy in the left lane because he was going about 30 and it was annoying me because he wouldn't move. As I'm about to move back into the left lane I see a pair of headlights from the other side move up a little bit, then as we get closer I can see the rest of the car following, crashing up and over the concrete barrier and come to a rest halfway in the left lane where approximately my face would have been had I not masterfully hydroplaned into the right lane.
After that it was fairly uneventful. We drove out of the storm after a total of about 4 hours of being completely submerged. We met up with Hotbid, Heyoka, p4NDemik, Milkis, and Jonoman and had some dinner and then we went back to our rooms or something and now I'm writing this.
Also everyone should follow OrangeMilkis on twitter because he said to.

psssh 300ft visibility, have had storms here in raleigh that gave me less than 10... and at 10 it was super fuzzy - could barely see a car with lights on.
