This post is the reason I'm inclined not to believe you. I can't see a genuine DT with a red check feeling like they will have trouble getting their red check lynched. This is a guilty mindset.
The order of events I would like to see happen right now 1. Lynch DB 2. If blue flip, vig supersoft 3. Suddenly, information - lynch mig.
Going back to read all of DropBear's posts before I move my vote to him.
Am I still the only one who thinks Foolish is scum? Check this post out

I've never seen a townie be so adamant about defending their town read before. Regardless, I'll drop him for today and focus on what's relevant.

I regret voting so fast, DB checking supersoft makes sense considering his day 1 vote. Looking forward to hearing from supersoft.

SUPERSOFT
First caught my suspicions with this:
On August 19 2011 17:40 supersoft wrote: ah well, it's not a big deal if everyone trolls at the beginning of the game. Also huge sum-up posts are not necessary... everyone should read the thread on his own. We need 2 lynchcandidates and we should have them in about 12 hours. We get them by pressuring people and see who defends them etc. If we have one mafiaguy amongst them, we got this game, because mafia tends to be stupid and defends each other, while a townie will get beaten up by everyone if he acts suspicious by accident. ???? This is filler if I've ever seen it. It basically says a) Noone needs to spam sumup posts b) Declares that we need lynch candidates c) We get them by playing the game d) We might not get it right the first time. Clap clap.
Then the "pressure vote" on me which included a bizarre pre-emptive defence of doing it. Why would he need to defend himself before anyone has attacked him yet?
On August 19 2011 18:14 supersoft wrote:Show nested quote +On August 19 2011 18:00 Palmar wrote: how about putting your vote on dropbear?
##Vote DropBear i just filtered him, and he just posted one policypost and no thoughts about other people. Why not pressuring him a bit. Can't be bad. ##Vote DropBearand before anyone jumps on me like: "wtf he bandwagoned blablabla" - like Curu did in AA; I am NOT one of the players, that bandwagons on anyone random with a bad explanation only to show up the next day like "hey guise sorry what happened, oh you lynched scum - yea well I had stuff to do." I will be there at the end of the day and put my vote on scum. Why would you feel the need to do this? It defeats the purpose of a pressure vote. It shows a lack of confidence in what he is saying. Why is pointing out that what you are doing is going to be met with criticism of it being stupid? Why would you want to emphasise poor play from yourself if you are town?
More filler, a list of people who haven't voted yet.
The nail in the coffin was his reasoning for the Sevryn vote. He declares his feeling of Sevryn's innocence:
On August 20 2011 08:41 supersoft wrote:Show nested quote +On August 20 2011 08:01 Curu wrote: Wanna see worse scum logic? Town voting someone to sheep, then unvoting when called out for it cause he "doesn't want to get lynched." hmm, sevryns behavior had something innocent in my eyes i don't know... Somehow I tend to buy that story... I mean the whole thing started like that: Basic situation: He knew Palmar from former games; and we all know that palmar played some good games for town recently - Palmar accuses DB; I jump on that wagon but declare it as a pressurevote. Varp shows up, says pressurevotes only work if you don't say it's a pressurevote (i 75% agree with that statement) Now the poor sevryn sees all this: he also wants to contribute something by pressurevoting, so he fakes his reason and follows varps advice and gets caught immediately... However that doesn't mean he's town.
yet he still ends up on sevryn because nard and xtfftc don't vote for him.
On August 21 2011 03:33 supersoft wrote: perfect, xtfftc and nard both refuse to vote for sevryn and say they want to wait until he defends himself. There is no reason not to vote him until he defends himself. Not only does this behavior back up my doubts on your innocence. But it also changes my mind about sevryn.
Since noone is going to follow my vote on xtfftc who is my primetarget I am going to switch on sevryn.
I decided to check him and he came back guilty.
Perhaps Curu and Mig are right, he needs to die first. Then we can kill Mig :D

Filter DropBears posts, and filter supersoft's posts. There is an obvious choice.

The whole thing is weird I don't know why db would fake claim DT then say he checked supersoft instead of saying he checked me.

So I guess I am inclined to believe db about his check.

Well if he was mafia it would be very convenient if they lynched you so he could say "i checked supersoft not mig, Sorry" and could live another day.
I say we lynch supersoft an look if it checks out. There is a chance supersoft was framed or is a miller but i think ill take that chance over lynching xtfftc or mig.

pff. are you kidding me?
Liquidite - Welcome to TL Mafia XLIV you are JimboSilvers, the retired serial killer, you now live at the old folks home, Paradise Lost, while the place is disgusting, you have adopted a philosophy of pacifism, so taking up the knife against the mafia is not an option, you can however still vote to kill mafia, be quick about getting them lynched so you can go back to sleeping and playing cards.
|
DB, didn't Foolishness claim RB? Unless supersoft flips RB You're fucked and You know it. But Supersoft might flip miller or regular goon(or anything else goes).

Jeah, that tells us almost as much as dropbears claim
Also, each role has custom fluff, to deter any silly ideas like name claiming, the mafia may at any point request a safe-claim from me and I will provide it, safe claims can be for any role, from Liquidian to Inquisitor

@Vain DB never said this in the thread. You and him need to die.

Well, all aboard the supersoft wagon.

Oh, can You learn how to freaking quote? After thinking a bit I thought about it coming from the OP. Nevermind then.

This is the same thing I thought "Omg DropBear did not say this he told his Mafia team that he can give them fake-claims!" *Go filter DropBear* "Indeed, it's not something random and SUSPICIOUS from the thread!" *post* *wait maybe it's from the OP* *check* "Yup."

The thing Vain quoted was from the OP, not from DropBear.

Hey Kurumi, how come you only show up after someone has checked red?

I won't flip anything except what I just posted. Go ahead and filter me. I always shared all my information.
If you really are a DT and I got framed, you didn't do your homework.

Look at AA where I spend the whole first day defending myself because of the exact same thing. I was town btw.
"hmm, sevryns behavior had something innocent in my eyes i don't know... Somehow I tend to buy that story... that was exactly what I was thinking. Why shouldn't I post my thoughts.
"yet he still ends up on sevryn because nard and xtfftc don't vote for him. " - DB
yes because I wanted to make sure, that there will be a majority. And I wanted to have a majority early, because I wanted to prevent a random hectic voting at the end of the day.
