He just needs to be put in his place from time to time.
Glad you could put me there.

Iccup is more than enough for the casual or slightly competitive player.

PGT was cool, for sure. but i personally enjoyed gamei/neogamei (even though i only got in towards the end of each) just exclude the abusers.

Can not connect to any battle.net server (application version unidentified or something, with all versions I have tried so far), but iccup is better anyway.
|
I play in a small community, but we mostly play on iCCup and our own Bnet server. I'm too low a level to even consider playing on Fish.
|
I play the game of "fail to find a game on iccup in 20 minutes, get drunk and go probe rush people on bnet". I guess I should try out Fish more, though last time I just found a ton of korean terrans who like to allin and then lift buildings(seriously? ten times in a row? come on...). Also lag between Latvia and Korea doesn't help at all

I most enjoyed WGT, because I could obs ladder games or download heaps of replays on any level of play. The sucky part was the bot report obv.

As easy and quick as it is to find games on fish, there isn't a foreigner "community". Just some random individuals playing on the ladder to get better. At least on iccup there's a whole community of english speaking people whom you can chill and also improve with.
If there actually is some hidden foreigner community on fish, anyone know where that may be? (op teamliquid doesn't count, it's empty almost every time I visit)
To answer the OP, I play on both iccup and fish. It's hard to find games on Iccup above C-; making a game and waiting 10 minutes for someone to leave once the game starts isn't ideal. So fish server for random/ladder games and iccup for with familiar faces.

Wow so many "hidden" servers. Are there any threads that list all existing BW servers ?
