Also, there is no problem with the launcher, the only issue I've had, and it pisses me off, is my antivirus tries to delete the wmode.bwl (permits windowed mode) calling it an evil Trojan, simply because of the way it modifies the way BroodWar.mpq runs.
Long story short, anal antivirus programs do not coincide well with a gaming lifestyle, they're usually wrong and make a big scary thing about nothing, and iCCup servers are much cleaner, especially by the virtue of being in a language you understand ("lol-wut does this button do? I can't read the typeset, let alone the language buuut *click* o crap!"). How are ICCup servers 'cleaner' again? Let alone due to the language, how does that work?

Its your anti-virus. Its false positive though. Play on fish anyways. No point in playing SC in ICCUP nowdays. Too few people.
Also it doesn't matter what server it is. Once you play its P2P anyways. *Yawn*... Somehow I think Asia Battle.net is a good place to train for D/D+ with wLauncher ofc.

Maybe if you changed antivirus software you'd be less angry?

Let's take the example of downloading an MP3 of a new pop song. Go, try, and you'll see how fukin sketchy the sites are, with 4 bigass "download" buttons each giving something you don't want and asking you to 'install software'. + Show Spoiler [Why chose "MP3's "] +Because the target audience of people wanting to directly download MP3's are people who don't know what they're doing, mainly kids who want the new cool pop tunes on their portable music library, but can't be asked to actually pay for them (iTunes). IMO if you know your way around you'd P2P or torrent it, or extract it directly from a youtube video. It's REALLY FUCKIN HARD, without experience, to not screw yourself over and click a wrong button here or there and put some shit on your computer. The only way to safely use high-target sketchy sites like that is to avoid them be really careful of what you click, always reading the fine print of what it provides and categorically rejecting anything that asks you to 'install'.
I'm no anal security freak, but when your computer stops working and dicks around because you downloaded something you shouldn't have, it's pretty fuckn annoying (to say the least).
Granted downloading a launcher to play Starcraft Brood War is NOT as high target and high risk as direct DL MP3's, but the danger is unless you read Korean you can't have proper safety habits because YOU CAN'T READ THAT SMALL PRINT. What's there stopping you from pressing a dangerous button with writing on it if you can't even read what it's meant to do? Yes SS guides exist, but how good are those once the UI is revamped.
TL;DR if you can't read the language you run the risk of blindly clicking download buttons on the internet. Start a stopwatch, surf the web with the keyword "download", click every button with the word "download" (preferably .RU domains q: )on it, and see how long before you totally brick your computer. Not safe, but you play with your own security.

Are you proud of abusing the ICC ladder in a clan system? It's like: "Haa-haa you guys suck, but we are to shitty to do it without you so we pull a shady move to abuse your system but still shit on your face". Yeah, now thats classy, bravo.
I personally know that it's easy to hack on ICC, but it's way easier to do it on fish server.

This community is supportive and diverse enough to have an up-to-date SS guide if the GUI does change. There are plenty of Korean users on TL who would help if someone made a thread or bumped an old SS guide for wLauncher or Mini or whatnot. If the GUI changes and you're clicking random buttons, you're the idiot, don't blame the program. Anyone who has such a primitive understanding of computer security will learn their lesson. Everyone else will enjoy the service. Most people find out about Korean servers/launchers through TL and the SS guides anyways, they have no reason to not follow them.
The fact of the matter is that there are thousands more people using wLauncher, Mini, Fish and Brain servers than ICCup/ICCup Launcher. Not only does this make playing on Korean gateways favorable for competitive and ACTIVE play, but it also means that there are thousands of people out there who aren't dumb enough to fuck up their computer.
What is funny is that despite this being what you describe as a major hurdle or obstacle or security threat or whatever, for whatever reason there are still more people on Fish than ICC. Conclusion? Your bias is blinding you to the reality of the situation. It's fine for you to not like Korean gateways because you are an ICCup admin, but don't go around making broad generalizations and as Kiante put it, "bashing" Korean gateways if your only arguments are the language barrier and the fact that if you don't follow the VERY comprehensive guides posted on TL you might get a virus.

You can find games anywhere, on any server. This poll is pointless. Anyone who would vote "No" is just trolling.

I have joined a team on Brain and they're really easy to communicate with and help me gain motivation to keep playing. We might chat about the recent pro match, or random shit like TV shows, etc... then randomly they're like "Cau you're so lazy. Let's go play 1v1" and then we do like a BO7 and then chat for like 10 minutes and talk about what we could have done better, then we play again. It's great fun.
if you want to chat and play, try to join a korean team. I joined about a year ago. it's a fairly large team, and it's very active. the skill varies from probably D - B/B+. I was able to join by playing someone on the team in public games and after i told him i don't speak korean he talked about me joining his team to help his english while he helped my playing.

Its not the competitive scene, its the UMS scene that is lacking in Fish. In Iccup you know there are the stable HLS game guys, the cat&mouse guys, the nexus map guys, the 2v6Z map guys, poker scene. Its great because it has character and we can understand it.
But Fish UMS scene? Its all korean symbols, filled with koreans. Western person cant understand anything..
