Good evening TL, again.
I have decided to make a WIP thread to track my the current drawing that i'm working on. I found that while working the commission i just finished, keeping tabs with the client kept me on a more regular schedule and by some weird sense of motivation, dissuaded me from gaming as much as i normally do and accomplish something actually productive.
I'm not sure how many of you are actually interested to watch the updates, if the majority of you find it pointless i'll cease, but otherwise, if you also enjoy watching pieces come together then i hope this will peak your interest.
This isn't the first time i've posted my art here and so, comments and critique is more than appreciated. This is a rather difficult composition compared what i'm used to with a more advanced angle concerning depth of body limbs.
Without further ado, i decided i wanted to do a zelda fanart due to my recent purchase of ocarina of time 3D (so awesome playing it again <3). From my experience at artist alley earlier this year, the audience tend to buy more fan art than original compositions so i decided to take 2 years off and improve my drawings as well as get an actual gallery going.

I really like the way it's coloured. I jumped a bit when I saw Link's face though :x

Yeah the face doesn't really look like link or any interpretation of him. Link's nose is soft and he always looks like a teenager. The left side of his face could use less shading. Link's eyes are blue and they could be a bit larger if you don't care about a realistic look. This guy looks like an adult. Otherwise it's quite amazing and I'm only providing feedback because you asked, not because I'm qualified to give it to someone as talented as you.

Lol, that picture of tingle scared the hell out of me when i opened the spoiler tab.
thanks for the input obesechicken. i see what you mean about the eyes after i googled up some twilight princess + skyward sword. I wanted to give him a more mature look but i guess i might've overdone it a bit.I enlarged the eye a bit and he does look younger, more teenager esque. thanks again :D
ruto can be a happy person when she's not being carried around =p

but i have a feeling link looks like a girl maybe less shading etc would make him more manly
obviously im not a pro and have no idea what im talking about just my 2 little cents being thrown

Thank you mawi =] i adjusted the shading by his right cheek, i think that helped a little.
Eyes were enlargened, and some things, make him look a bit more teenager-y via obesechicken.
Other changes written in the log / you can see by comparing the spoiler tag.

Please dont be insulted but for some reason links face just creeps the hell out of me. It dosent really remind me of link to soft in my opinion not warrior like enough.
Everything else i think is very well done.

Not insulted. I'll fiddle with it. I'm aiming for a warmer/jolly link which is new for me cause i dont have much experience with expressions.

had to take a week break to finish up a report for the scholarship committee that was funding my research over the summer. Hoping to crank a lot of progress on the background over the next week
