Solo top AP Nunu totally underrated.
Also, playerbase numbers are out now: "As of today, 15 million people have registered to become League of Legends players. Each month, over 4 million people log in to play. And on each day, 1.4 million summoners play League of Legends together.
When we're at our busiest, over 500,000 people in North America and Europe are in game at the same time. On average, more than 10 games of League of Legends start every second of every day."

And maybe some pubstomp with Kata. Please no...
Zilean is a mana hog, but Catalyst covers levels 6-10, and after that you should be hogging every blue buff. He doesn't need Tear.

Udyr nerf won't make a huge difference, but the nerf to wriggles was important to make his sustain less ridiculous. He still has counters (hint, anyone with range that moves fast or has an escape; teemo, caitlyn, corki, trist, whatever).
Corki, Annie, Orianna, Yorick nerfs all needed as well I think. Pirate might still not be enough because he still gets insane free gold, and his ultimate is crazy strong.
Monkey king looks like Garen 2.0, I going to instant buy him when patch is out on EU.

At low ELO Tear isn't a bad Zilean item, especially if you're stuck in duo lanes, which happens 90% of the time in solo queue. It's also more achievable if you're bad at last-hitting.

In that situation I would still probably recommend PStone over Tear on Zilean.
Tear on its own is just lackluster on AP carries--PStone and Cata->RoA gives better overall lane sustain (esp because of the health proc) and if you just need straight up mana regen, you can DRing stack. Later on, RoA gives good enough of a mana boost and significantly outdoes AA Staff on cost-effectiveness unless you have another significant mana source--and incidentally most of the good non-Tear mana sources for casters build from Catalyst.
Cata+Tear is good on casters that can make use of having the mana from both (e.g. Ryze, Anivia), but I would pretty much never get Tear alone.

Tear is always a shit item IMO. Unless you want the mana pool for a low cd spell that you NEED to cast a lot all game long (urgot) or just plain USE a lot of mana (anivia, ryze) cata is almost always the better choice. I find that smart mana usage and the ability to get big items faster always outweighs the "well im too lazy to conserve mana so im just gonna get tear so I can spam" mindset.

Well Tear on AD-based champs like Urgot and Corki is a slightly different story because Manamune becomes a cost-effective AD source at WAY lower mana values than AA Staff does for AP.
Also, "im too lazy to conserve mana so im just gonna steal my jungler's blue buff" best mindset imo.

My reasoning behind getting tear is "do I want manamune? If yes, go tear, if no, don't get it"
Also dont get tear on corki. Stop being a hobo and buy mp5 runes.

You can choose to play Corki without Manamune (probably better from duo lane), but that requires more of a playstyle change than just trying to fill the hole with runes. Especially since scaling mana regen runes are awful now.

wait, why are mana regen runes awful now? last i checked they all got a *slight* nerf and champions all got a *slight* buff so that lower level players could spam more without effecting higher level players spammage. so aren't they in the same place?
i thought people moved away from them because philo was such a good item that it made more sense to devote more rune slots to penetrations and defenses
i don't think mana regen runes are *bad* by any sense of the word, they're just redundant if you're planning on stacking philos (which you can't do anymore anyway)
but i could have missed something

I think you are maybe mistaken with mk. His set looks very similar (actually its about the same) as phantom lancer from dota. A harass based hard carry that you lane with a sustain support, while he farms his ass of and starts to splitpush like crazy after his core build.
garens set forces him to engage and dominate his lane through commiting with well timed attacks (which I find much harder to execute than just harrass). Mk will dash in and out just do trade blows in his favor while soraka keeps his manapool and hp up, which is very straightforward and easy to do.
Mb he will feel garen'ish in teambattles because of his ultimate.
Well those are assumptions in the end. But I'am really looking forward to play him as well!

Quick question, not really related to patch, but how much IP is the new monkey champion, something wrong with my PC cant open lol client.

If there is a champion that TSM guides covers perfectly it's corki.
Also how do you get rune/masteries wise on udyr? I went 21/9/0 with MS quints and arp reds

Phantom lancer is a super hardcore carry late-game. MK can't do anything remotely similar.
He's just straight-up bruiser but with none of the CC. He has some gimmick with his very short stealth but he's just so underwhelming from what I can tell.
He needs absurd amount of tank items, unless his passive gives him at least 20MR/armor per nearby champion or he won't even live to see his spin finish.
|
But dont worry tap, he can beat viegar in lane, kill an ezreal 5 levels below him, and STILL kill people once he is 17-2.
-_-

LOL new udyr so much fun. Get ganked all day in lane, don't give a shit, farm like a boss while being invincible.

EU is currently not on Wukong Patch since he hasn't been released on EU. You can change regions to play on EU if you want though. Your client stores separate data for EU and NA patch stuff now though as far as I understand.
