Park Tae-Hwan!!!
This week the 2011 WC Shanghai Men's 400m Freestyle finals was hosted and finished. Watched it live and I absolutely LOVED IT, it was incredibly amazing. The winner is an stupendous swimmer and the match was flippin awesome! I got goosebumps when he suddenly raced through to become 1.20 seconds above the second place. And I just celebrated To the point where the neighbors complained for being too loud (They're grouchy neighbours, I mean come on! That was the best swim i've ever seen)
I am a HUGE fan of the winner, he has always been my role model as I am a vivid swimmer and I have been swimming ever since I was about 6? His 400m really got me inspired to become a better swimmer and I wish to become like him and compete in championships. In my spare time I choose either to play Starcraft 2 or to swim at the local millenium (Membership FTW)

I am also aware of the 200m Freestyles because it wasn't too long ago, Phelps was amazing but I think he used too much of his energy on his beginning to mid. Park Tae-Hwan was swimming really well too and it was too bad he came fourth even though his last lap he just bursted with speed (It was seriously close by about 0.04 seconds I think) I dont know if that was his stratergy or not but it didn't really work out :S
But still, congratulations to the competitve swimmers who got top 3 for either tournaments! And to those that competed in the tournament, what an inspiration and what a great tournament.
So Teamliquid, who else are swimmers or a fan of competitive swimming? And what are your guys thoughts about swimming?
