I was not able to convince the dialog when choosing folders to show me hidden folders. So it was kind of a pain to set up my App Data folder, which is hidden. This is probably an issue only on non-english windows, where you have to actually change the path. As written 2 posts above this: you can set the default folder to start replay browsing from, and you can use replay sources. And when doing this, the problem miraculously disappears? The folder is still hidden so you have the same problem, when you are trying to set it up! I am not saying, that it was difficult for me (I just typed it in), but I can see people not knowing how to manage that pretty easily, if they don't understand the U&S structure (like 90 percent of windows users). True. But those 90% who don't know they can just type in the folder name, they don't use hidden folders... They don't need to, the implicit folder for SC2 replays is hidden by default. I still feel like we don't understand each other in this respect. SC2 (on W7 at least) saves replays into the "Application data" structure in Users, which is System and Hidden. On non-english Windows, this folder has a localized name, of which Sc2Gears is not aware. When a user does not know crap about all this, how can he possible find his own replays? That is not true. On Windows 7 replays are saved in the Accounts folder which is under the user's home folder (which is usually C:\Users). The user home folder is not hidden. Okay, I am doubly stupid, it's almost unbelievable. Installing Sc2Gears on 2 PCs at once, I got totally confused on what really the problem is. I am so sorry! The directory I had trouble to locate was the "SC2 maps folder" which is indeed in a hidden subdirectory of Documents and Settings (on WINXP). Replays are totally fine (or, more exactly, thery were hidden due to me messing up, and that make me to mix those two things up). Yes, the maps folder might be hidden by default, but that's why Sc2gears knows the OS specific default folders of the maps.
But you're right, you should be able to select hidden folders, the default file chooser dialog hides them. I will look into it.

[BUG] for some reason Sc2gears is not showing additional Command centers ( only the initial one) when in the MAP VIEW in the replay analyzer. PS: not in all replays this is an example http://replayfu.com/r/7G1b7d

PS: not in all replays this is an example http://replayfu.com/r/7G1b7d The map view chart shows buildings you built. If you fly and land you cc, it will not show it.
Another possible reason: If a new building overlaps a current one on the map, that means the overlapped building was probably destroyed (or was moved => fly, uproot; or never built). For these cases there is a chart option (above the chart): hide overlapped buildings.
Obviously if 10 buildings were built at the same location, the map view can't show all those 10 buildings at the same time.
The map view chart shows the map view for a specific time: for the time of the selected action. So you can see earlier/previous map views if you select an action in the action list or you click somewhere on the progress bar of the Animator (below the chart). You can also animate to see how the map changes.

Amazing Program! Thank you x1,000,000!
Suggestion for a feature: many people have multiple accounts or have changed their user ID, make it so you can combine 2 or more ID's within a multi-replay analysis into one 'person' so you can track the progress of all your stats across all your smurfs/old ID's.
Edit: "Exactly this has already been implemented. Go to the Aliases tab of the Misc settings dialog. You can define Player aliases. All players in the same alias group will be treated as one in the Multi-rep analysis." -DakotaFanning
You're too awesome. :D

Something seems to be off with the word analyzing. 127% of my analyzed replays have the word hf?

maybe it was said more than once in some replays?

Well, there are occurences, which can easily be higher than the # of replays. But the "replays" column can't be higher than the number of analyzed replays. At least as far as i understand it.

Really? Then how does the units tab work?
Actually... I think I know. SC2 must be actively keeping track of the unit count while it renders the replay. That sucks.

This is really a great program! Thanks a lot! It would be really cool if somehow a plugin could be made to help with injects, mules or chronoboost (mainly injects though) during the games... I have no idea how plugins work but it would be cool :D.

I have no idea how plugins work but it would be cool :D. There is a Main building control chart which already shows statistics and analysis for Larva injects. There is also a Grid checkbox and Grid settings icon above the chart on the right, which can draw grids to indicate optimal chrono boost and MULE calldown times.

Sc2gears 7.0.1 has been released:
-Fixed a bug which caused incorrect values in the "Replays" and "Replays %" columns in the overall "Chat words" tab in the Multi-rep analysis.
-Removed the Sc2gears Database News Start page channels ("Latest" and "All").
-Plugin API 1.0.1: * Fixed a few typos in method names, the old methods are still in the API but are marked as deprecated (will be removed in the future) * Added a new info method: InfoApi.isRealTimeConversionEnabled() * Added VERSION field to all API interfaces * The API Javadoc is now available on the web: Sc2gears Plugin API Javadoc

screenshot :http://imgur.com/SGCTQ will let you know if any other bugs !! It works fine for me. What you see is simple: the players are not ranked in any leagues. Either they play custom games, they only played in Season 1 or they don't play at all. This is not a bug.

well the first player is me and i'm ranked !! (i have added myself so the tool should know my stats.
