Also, if you could do a similar thing for floating larva, that would be even more awesome. :D EDIT: BTW, just wanted to add that the amount of work you've put into SC2 Gears so far is amazing! Kudos to you, man!

Any ideas what's wrong? https://sites.google.com/site/sc2gears/version-history/sc2gears603 If you rename your folder to remove spaces, auto-update will run. Once you have version 7.0, this error will not occur again.

Kudos to you, man! Unfortunately not. Replays do not contain enough info to tell the current (alive) units.

Sc2gears is "aware" because the date has been announced. Sc2gears only classifies replays based on dates.

This, with ressource graphic and also the Army Value. Even if they are available at the end of a game, I like to watch them in Sc2gears better.

However I am afraid this is beyond the scope of this program and it would need to take Blizz itself to implement such a feature. Yet I couldn't resist to at least toss this idea here

And when doing this, the problem miraculously disappears? The folder is still hidden so you have the same problem, when you are trying to set it up! I am not saying, that it was difficult for me (I just typed it in), but I can see people not knowing how to manage that pretty easily, if they don't understand the U&S structure (like 90 percent of windows users).

True. But those 90% who don't know they can just type in the folder name, they don't use hidden folders...

They don't need to, the implicit folder for SC2 replays is hidden by default. I still feel like we don't understand each other in this respect. SC2 (on W7 at least) saves replays into the "Application data" structure in Users, which is System and Hidden. On non-english Windows, this folder has a localized name, of which Sc2Gears is not aware. When a user does not know crap about all this, how can he possible find his own replays?

edit : when viewing player profile in SC2Gears, can you show the ladder Rating ? Because rank doesn't mean anything.

On Windows 7 replays are saved in the Accounts folder which is under the user's home folder (which is usually C:\Users). The user home folder is not hidden.

The directory I had trouble to locate was the "SC2 maps folder" which is indeed in a hidden subdirectory of Documents and Settings (on WINXP). Replays are totally fine (or, more exactly, thery were hidden due to me messing up, and that make me to mix those two things up).
