We will be performing scheduled maintenance for Diablo III starting tomorrow (8/21) at 3:00 a.m. PDT in order to deploy patch 1.0.4. We anticipate that maintenance will conclude and that all services will be available by approximately 1:00 p.m. PDT It has been officially confirmed that maintenance is tonight to deploy the 1.04 patch!
I'm very excited and included in the link above is the full official patch notes.
Already, I'm thinking about changing my skill choices to some of the buffed skills.
Can't wait to play it tomorrow!

How much do you guys think fiery brimstones will go up to? I'm not sure how much to list mine for @_@ they're already approaching 600k!

I'm guessing the prices are gonna get real high after so many people start playing again.

wow this patch is how the game should have been on day one (not being snarky). Finally gonna fire up the game again.
Things that should have been polished out before release:
-A repair tab has been added to the Blacksmith
-Squirt the Peddler has permanently moved from the Caldeum Bazaar up to the Hidden Camp, as she heard people liked buying Health Potions up there
-The last follower a player had active in a single-player game will now be restored automatically after leaving a multiplayer game
-The frequency of follower dialog has been reduced
-The text color of gems, potions, crafting pages and tomes dropped on the ground has been changed from white to light blue
-The maximum stack size of gems has been increased from 30 to 100
-The ability to drag-and-drop skills in Elective Mode will now only be enabled while the Skill window is open
hmmm... -Experience awarded by level 61-63 monsters has been increased by approximately 60%
-The treasure goblin spawn has been removed from the Road to Alcarnus

Looks good. Might get back into D3. I love how they are buffing Demon Hunter Cluster Arrow and Evasive fire

Paragon levels??? Sounds dope as fuck. Prestige has made its way from CoD
Edit: Am I the only one who saw that? 3% MF and GF and extra stats per level? 100 levels? MF gear going to shit???

Someone posted a chart of how much exp u need to reach 100lv Paragon. It was 100bilion? 10bilion? something like that.
from 1 - 60 u needed like 30mil ? Or someshit like that... so yah, noone will have lv 100 of paragon for next 5-6 months if not more.
Your MF gear is fine.

What MF gear? I'm stuck n act 3 still lmao. Yes i like it. Thats old school diablo. When you hit the max level you go out and punch a wall cuz it took you for god damn ever to do.

The Caltrops Jagged Spikes damage increase that was in the unofficial notes doesn't appear to be in the official one. Does anyone know if this is just missing from the official notes or have they decided not to up the dmg?

it's not a damage increase, just a rewording of the tooltip

Quill Fiends in the Dank Cellar will now drop less additional gold (but will still drop more than other Quill Fiends) and should now properly turn hostile when confronted by a player
used to my my gold farm place lol

Hey if wizards can do 1600% with a rune and monks can do 1777% with seven sided strike, then, no it's clearly not a typo.

Looks like I'm gonna love the fuck out of this patch. Paragon sounds so cool, will definitely get me back into D3, at least for a little while.

Im interested in this change:
Vault Skill Rune - Trail of Cinders Now leaves a trail of fire behind the player dealing 1500% weapon damage over 3 seconds
Thats alot of fucking damage, 500% a second is like the highest dps DOT in the game....and you can run away while using it...mistake or new primary skill?
