pretty bad changes to the wizard ice armor and storm armor. They did changes to ice armor which are almost worthless, and didnt touch storm armor which is completely useless

Yeah pretty much the most obvious thing I thought they would buff were those two armor types. Like.....no one uses them, period. I'm betting they will have something in store for em later eh

This patch could as well be named 1.1.
There are things I don't like, but overall changes seem appropriate.

I don't get how people can be happy about this patch... they nerf everything again and the word "challenge" will soon no longer be present in this game... 1.0.3 was already a big nerf but now it's like 1000x worse with the news procs which will do massive damage, the big buffs to most class skills and 20-30% nerfs to the few things still hitting hard like Fire Chain and Arcane ...

Then they add a new artificial grind with the parangon levels... carrot+stick effect and will further unbalance PVP... as if RMAH was not enough.

I really don't get it.

Pretty sure there're plenty of players still struggle with act 3, give them a break. Also I'm pretty sure PvP will have matching system base on win/lose ration and certain paragon level rather than random PvP. So chill out, you don't have to keep unhappy about the game, just quit.

Pretty sure there're plenty of players still struggle with act 3, give them a break. Also I'm pretty sure PvP will have matching system base on win/lose ration and certain paragon level rather than random PvP. So chill out, you don't have to keep unhappy about the game, just quit.

It's not that they struggle, it is just nonviable to run act3-4. I have 70k dps, 1000res and 42k HP as a wizard and still when I meet shielders, invulnerables, or multiple CC elites I often die at least once until I take them out. In contrast, I run entire Act 2 in and hour and 10 mins, which yields 2 inventories of level 61+ yellows and about 5-10 lvl 63s. Thats better than doing bridge+tower in act 3.

In all seriousness though I wish they worked on weapon spec passives or even normalized some abilities (cluster arrow) so you could choose whatever wep you wanted.

I think the community is pretty happy with the 1.0.4 patch, it is starting to feel less like WoW and more like Diablo again. I approve Bliz.
Monk: Because being a badass is more fun then playing a dude wearing a scarf.. ... Ite fuck it, Witch Doctor cuz I like killing stuff in a timely mannor.

Paragon system looking like the kind of lifeline the game needed, and also countless sought-after minor stuff.
"The frequency of follower dialog has been reduced"
"Gem-combine designs for Amethysts and Emeralds should no longer contain typos"
"The text color of gems, potions, crafting pages and tomes dropped on the ground has been changed from white to light blue"
"The gem drop sound effect is now more noticeable"
"Squirt the Peddler has permanently moved from the Caldeum Bazaar up to the Hidden Camp, as she heard people liked buying Health Potions up there"
"Champion and Rare monsters will no longer enrage after prolonged combat, and they will no longer heal to full health after not being engaged"
"Jailer can now no longer appear with Knockback, Nightmarish, or Vortex"

Best fucking change in this patch note! But everything else is pretty nice too Cannot wait to get back to playing D3!
