They don't have the most amicable relations.

It's not like HuK can beat IdrA in riding a car or something.

HuK actually was the one trolling, but whatever.
Let's see if the swedes can do better than Germanys nerds did when TLO arrived at Frankfurt
|
I don't know anything about the supposed animosity between the two, but just saw this pic at the epic image thread and maybe it has something to do with the discussion.

Can we please get over the HuK vs Idra drama? It's pretty much in every thread, and this one isn't about them.
Anyway, make sure to take pictures / make videos!
|
It's up to the nerds in Stockholm. I would never drive to Stockholm for this and I don't think anyone else would either.
|
translate please i would love to hear!

This is so cool. And Jinro actually deserves it.

Translation?:
Rakaka greykarn writes open letter to the community:
Dear community friends, esportälskare & StarCraft fans! An early morning January 15, 2011 I woke up, Hellspawn, Pond and Iceman in Uppsala. After an overnight stay in Pond apartment we had set the alarm clock on the right-to-early. It was time for GSL with Artosis and Tasteless. All, each with a coffee cup in hand and a focus on Group D in the Round of 16 with ogs MC, marinated king, Rainb0w and successful player Jinro as in the previous season had got her big break after that made it to the semfinal in a Korean StarCraft II tournament as the first non-korean.
Two hours later we stand up and shout in chorus, raise your arms in the sky and roared a deafening JIIIIIIIINRO which should have brought the whole house. After the initial defeat by marinating king had Swedish Jinro done the impossible and beaten the defending GSL champion MC twice - first on the Lost Temple and then on Scrap Station. He beat a player who only weeks earlier had humiliated him in a semifinal in which the Swede had a chance.
It was somewhere there that I definitely decided to become an avid supporter Jinro. Sweden had a new e-sports star in the class with Lakerman and HeatoN. If not more. I do not know if that was all we drank coffee that morning or if it was his nickname, "Gorilla Terran", which made me Jinro-saved. Maybe it was that he had previously been a devoted forumpostare on team liquid with 30 000 items in luggage, now got to live his dream in e-sport engagement of country. Maybe it was something else .. But there is a tomorrow is not soon forget ..
Bolstered by confidence steamed Jinro again in the semifinals. In the semifinals, he once again meet purl marinating king and it was, unfortunately, loss again. But never have two semifinal losses were so great. Jinro enrolled in the Swedish e-sport history. Jinro also opened my eyes to a whole e-sports world: The South Koreans are not unbeatable. In Brood War had been impossible feat, but in StarCraft II Westerners could finally compete with the Korean superstar. Jinro had not only become a fanfavorit in Sweden - but a whole online world was impressed by the Swedish Terran player. It seemed otherwise to Twitter - where he was 'Trending' everywhere.
On the 10th of April at 11:20 landing Jonathan "Jinro" Walsh at Arlanda airport. He will work with the TL-mate Bachelor of Og-star MC. Jinro is invited, just like the other two, to play in the DreamHack tournament 'Stockholm Invitiational' at Kulturhuset. It is the first time that Jinro will return to Sweden after the success in Korea.
I've said it several times, but it was probably somewhere in Uppsala, I decided: If Jinro will return to Sweden, the Swedish e-sport community, stop, go to the airport and welcome our Swedish e-sports hero back to Stockholm. He is certainly keen to meet with friends and family shortly after landing, but hopefully we can at least give back some of the entertainment he has given us this dark winter.
I therefore call on all e-sports fans out there, do as I do, Pond and Hellspawn. Book a bus, a train, take a taxi or a tank car full of petrol. At 11 on Sunday (10 / 4) we have seen namely in the arrivals hall in Terminal 5 at Arlanda and celebrates the super hero.
Bring cameras, signs or anything. It is of course a lot of StarCraft-talk, perhaps a visit to McDonald's and a perfect warm up before StarCraft II event April 12. Who would not want to have a Swedish victory in the Cultural Center?
Then comb the bangs now, and write in the comments below if you show up! It would be otherwise - fun to see!
