It will be dead.
There's a popup when you create a HC char stating they will not give you your char back no matter what caused its death.

I'm quitting this game. 99% sure.
It feels rushed and very limiting in gameplay options.
Big letdown personally.

You dont have to "ok bro"-me. Just my thoughts, and this is the general discussions thread. If you have to say something, then say it.

The point of saying "k bro" or cool story is to disregard your post because it's essentially just a "whine post" without any real content except the vague one line dismissal of why you don't like it, yet you feel obliged to tell everyone that you're quitting instead of just not playing any more when you get bored of it which is the natural progression of any game. The vast majority of us have put in 100+ hours of gameplay within a few weeks which would burn anyone out of any single player game. Most "classic" well made game's don't actually have THAT much playtime in them it's just when you were a kid you couldn't play all day and even if you could you probably wouldn't finish and had to restart it constantly.

Repair nerf is really bad imo.... Costs me 25k each time. Stupid

I get what you're saying. But first, I've always played pretty much as much as I want, since I was a kid, up until today. I currently only study, and have a lot of spare time to play. I gave the game a shot bc I played a lot of d2 and me and my friends have been waiting for some years for this game to release.
I've put well over 100 hours in this game, but I didn't need to get to Inferno mode to notice that the replayability of this game was going to be a LOT lower than it's predecessor. I think it's fair to compare the games in a healthy way.
IMO itemization just plain sucks in this game. It's just a rush to the highest DPS weapon you can find/afford and then you're set to kill the next champ pack. Removing skill levels, different benefits for using different types of weapons (mace or sword for barb, or getting +dmg to a skill more frequently, because honestly even if a weapon has +dmg to a skill or reduced resource spending, it will NOT make a difference in pretty much every case) destroyed the possibility of using different build altogether, even if the objective was the opposite one. Now there's only ONE way to progress, and it's as linear as it can be. Farm Azmodan Hell, go to AH, go to Inferno, farm Halls of Agony and Butcher, go to AH and Act 2. And so on. Lowering quality and drop rate from Sets/Legendaries also lowered the chance or completely removed rather, of lower level items of "legendary" quality to be useful in later stages. They are just for show now. Even if they improve them, it's not happening anytime soon.
Blizzard had D2 to improve upon, but removing even little details which one took for granted in D2 like random towns (as stupid as it may seem) or chat channels substract a lot from the whole experience, again IMO.

The people who were spam dying to farm are already rich enough to afford the repair anyway... this just hurts everyone else imo.

What exactly do you consider "non linear way to progress". Diablo 2 was equally if not even more linear as you had exactly 1 way to progress quickly which is to just leech levels in tristram / tal rasha tomb / baal games until you're level 80, grab some MF gear and then kill whichever boss you can for gear. If you don't want to do that, then you can feel free to do something much less efficient which you can do here as well.
Diablo 2 had much better itemization but I feel like eventually diablo 3 will get to that point with future patches. Diablo 2 had a lot of stats that simply don't exist in diablo 3 but the reverse is also true (crit/crit damage being an example). I'm sure you realize that if they just release a crapload of random weird item affixes on launch that it's just going to be even more hell for them to balance if they screw up.

You can get like 350k gold an hour farming nightmare azmodan with 200%+ gold find gear. Start the kill azmodan quest and then arreat crater 1, arreat crater 2, arreat core etc.

If you're dying that much, maybe its a sign that you're not geared/skilled enough to be in that Act. May be worth it to downgrade an Act and farm up there

Im talking about what I mentioned already, things such as legendaries/sets being useful in much later levels, even endgame. Frostburns from D2 for example, they could fit into specific builds all the way to very high levels. Items in D3 which are just "the best" in a specific slot, are the best because there truly isnt an item better than it, not because it fits this or that build. And I'm not even mentioning different methods of progressing like runewords/imbue.
After playing pretty much every Blizz game there is, I'm confident that could come up with other ways to progress itemwise besides GET 5 NV AND KILL ALL THE PACKS.

This concept has actually led to an interesting discussion on the official D3 forums. There's a thread with the word 'collaboration' in the title that talks about ways to keep the previous loot system for non-combat options by adding in combat elements. Such as letting MF work if you've killed something in the past 5 minutes or letting the full stack of NV apply so as not to have breakable pots and debris around solely to generate repair bills when you are playing the game however it is that Blizzard has deemed "fun" (currently, killing champions/elites).
