Breaking Terran on Metropolis with Ultralisks is like trying to break a walnut with your penis

that's not necessarily true. pvt is completely different from tvz. you're comparing apples and oranges here. are you proposing that any foreigner that beats a person that beat stephano is the best foreigner in the world? well sorry but you're wrong. remember, taeja lost to rain, first, and seed who are protoss. tvp might just be his weakest match up.

It's a joke, dood. Calm down.

Metalopolis is Z favored. I did not see the first map but there isn't really a T favoured map anymore in TvZ.

Every map is always terran favored.

Is basically what you're saying with that, FYI.

No lol. Cloud Kingdom and Daybreak both have neutral bases to fight for on either side. Whirlwind, Tal Darim and Entombed have so many bases that full split map almost never happens. Antiga is diagonal.

If you play turtle Terran on Shakuras and metropolis then you have a big advantage.

Do you somehow not acknowledge the existence of broodlord infestor or something? Or instant ultralisk switches, both combined basically the ultimate turtle-cracker? Calling metropolis, the most terran unfavored map in the tournament pool favored towards terran is quite frankly absurd.

It encourages turtling, either deathballs(P), BL/Infestor/Bank (Z), or mass orbitals (T).

Zerg does BLfestor turtle and Protoss does deathball pretty much every game on every map though.

Metropolis is dumb but there are serious problems with racial design anyway.

what about acknowleding ravens, the islands, and buildings (ie a wall at the 5th base or strategic planetaries)?
The stats definitely favour zerg, but are those mostly split-map games? I would highly doubt it.

Yeah, Zerg has such a hard time on Metropolis.

Totally.

If the Terran plays well...

Zergs even whine about maps where they have a 65% win rate. Amazing. Truly amazing.

Guess Terrans just normally play terribly or something.

its a Terran favoured map in Korea/

Crux Metropolis
Crux 대도시

Size: 150x150
Spots: 3, 6, 9, 12
Tileset: Installation
Games played: 311

Race Stats (non-mirrors):
TvZ: 29-56 (34.1%) [ Games ]
ZvP: 25-36 (41%) [ Games ]
PvT: 42-42 (50%) [ Games ]
http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/sc2-korean/maps/528_Crux_Metropolis

I know 30% TvZ is standard, but please don't say zerg favored, or it'll become the next standard.

well tbh I was just guessing because every game I watch Terran wins. I think Terrans are learning how to properly abuse the map now and the win rate should go up.
